Hi I wear 38 european size and I want to order shoes from USA. I have been searching over internet and in many sites it says 7 and in some sites 7.5. Now I do not know which one is correct.

Does anyone else wear a different size shoe size than they measure?

I am a guy, I normally wear a 10 or 10 1/2 in mens gym shoes, I went to buy some shoes, so I measured my foot to see if my foot size has changed and it is a size 9 in mens and in womens I just measured to see and it was a 10 1/2. Are shoes made smaller now.

I had this problem too what they told me was that all shoe types are a little different and what we call sizes are really just a guideline to get us close to the right size but some brands can be 12 others 13 or 11.5 so we are supposed to just try them on and start with what we normally wear and adjust to what we need for that shoe
