High heels fanatics please answer. Lots of high heels related questions?

Hello. My name is Alex. I live in Arizona and I buy high heels online. I wear a size 13-14 men shoes. I bought some high heels from unbeatablesale.com because they were ALOT cheaper than "bootycocktails.com". Anyways.... I bought the lip 196 platform heels 5 inch at size 16. When I got them, they felt like they were 2 sizes too big, but they (being lace up) were easily tied to keep it level to my ankle, but the front of my foot was moderately loose. I can walk in them, but I know i need to get a smaller size. I just don't know which is too small. I am already limited because of my shoe size in mens. If I get a size 14 womens, might it fit since the toes were loose a size or 2? Also... Would I be pushing my luck to buy a size 13? I really have a think for exotic high heels and I love wearing them since I bought my lip 196's. I don't wanna be kind of screwed in the end with them being too tight. I don't mind if they are a little tight. Also, another question is... The pair of heels I bought really hurt (i've worn they not very long about 4-5 times). Like, the front of my feet sorta end up feeling sore afterwords. I kinda dig the pain, but like, are the shoes not broken in yet? Or is it the shoes? Because I really want to get shoes with a bigger slope (Heels size minus platform size). Thank you all. Please feel free to share stories too. I will thumb you up.

Where I live, the hair would cost about $50, shoes $50, purse $20, mani/pedi with designs $50-65, a dress about $200, jewelry $30, limo ride based on 4 couples (or 8 people) about $50/person. I'm a crossdresser and I've always wondered if salesgirls at Victoria's Secret, Fredericks, women's shoe stores like Bakers/Nine West/Aldo etc receive specific training/instructions on how to deal with sissies like me. Do these store have specific policies? Anyway, thanks.

I'm not sure, but what you could do is call the store you plan to visit ahead of time and ask them or say you would like some help and would there be an associate willing to help you. They could give you his/her name and then when you arrive ask for them and say you called earlier, that way there is less of a change of an uncomfortable situation and they might be more prepared to help you if they haven't been trained.

I would say the dress isnt too fancy, but the shoes, are slightly over the top. To my 8th graduation i wore a white dress with pinkish flats, so you might consider flats instead. That would actually make the dress less fancy.

It's a mystery. I watched Beyonce' perform with high heels and was expecting her to fall, but she didn't...! ???

Beyonce is obviously very fit, and therefore it will be easier to engage the muscles that you need in order to stay balance. The quality of the shoes plays an important part, and I can guess that Beyonce would wear the best quality. Is it true that you get warm/sweaty feet when you wear high heels?

My gf always gets warm and sometimes sweaty feet in high heels, it's mid winter now and she still wears some open high heels without socks. she says she only has warm feet when wearing heels, so not with her flats, probably because the feet are at work in those heels but still a little mystery to me... Maybe some girls here with the same experience? Maybe someone with a logical reason for this?
