If you own a pair of Steve Madden shoes or seen them.. do you think it is worth the price and quality? Lately, I've been wanting them but I'm putting it off because of their price.. but the temptation on how nice they are is killing me! lol.. so any review on them?

I don't own a pair of Steve Madden shoes, but my best friend owns a pair of pumps from a few seasons ago. She likes them, says the quality isn't quite worth market price, but she loved how they looked. If you just want a pair for the brand name, don't get them. You might not wear them that much. If, on the other hand, you really like the design of one of the styles, buy it (but look for it first on sites like amazon, overstock, and 6pm.com, which is actually owned by zappos). They should last you awhile. They aren't THAT comfortable, I've heard. Not something you'd want to stand all day in but they aren't super uncomfortable either. You can probably last a few hours standing. I liked the feel of the material on my friend's shoes (kind of suede-y) but I don't know about patents or leathers. In general, if you pay a higher price, you are getting a better quality product. Check amazon and other large sites for reviews on the style you want to buy before you get them. Even within one brand, there can be a huge difference in quality, fit, etc.

Why do women pick such stupid reasons not to date a particular person?
Today at lunch I overhead a conversation between two yapping women. These women are alright look by far from attractive enough to be overly pick. To make a long story short, one friend was saying to the other she went on a date with this cute guy and was funny, but that wasn't going out with him again because he wore a brown belt with black shoes. lolololol, I mean, seriously. This woman was about 6 of 10. She wasn't pretty enough to be that judgmental.

Do high heels hurt less with continued wear?
I've been a heel wearer for years now, and I was wondering at what point do they stop hurting? Or do they ever? Please don't give me some lame answer like "duh, heels hurt" and expect to be considered for best answer. Only serious answers please, I'd appreciate it. I wonder about women like Mariah Carey who do wear heels on a daily basis (i've never seen her without them, and they're incredibly high, 5" at least) Is there ever a point where your foot gets used to the pain? Or is it like you continue to wear them even though they constantly hurt. Also does weight or height contribute a great deal to that? Thank you.

I think high heels do eventually stop hurting. I have friends who are twins and they've been wearing heels since they were 15 (they're 24 now) and they can do anything in heels, run, jump, dance. They wear the heels constantly and we're talking sky high stilettos. And they tell me that they're so used to it now that they have issues wearing flat shoes. So I guess the more you wear heels the less it'll hurt eventually. Unless they're just an uncomfortable pair. I've been practicing too!! So far.. It's not working!

I got these 4 inch heels for prom. Not the smartest, but it's a long dress and they're gorgeous. When you do buy heels, make sure they fit you well and they are not too tight. If you go to a shoe store or maybe department store, ask them for heel padding. I think Dr.Scholls have something like that. You just have to ask around and look for them. Another thing you can do is, break them in. A week or two before prom, wear them around the the house. I say a week or two because of your feet hurts, you can take breaks. So wear them every other day and give your feet some rest. Have fun at prom.

How to get rid of smelly shoes?
So I've noticed my badminton/court shoes are starting to smell a bit and I heard baking soda works really well. The problem is..my baking soda has been expired for who knows how long. I don't bake a lot so I have only used the baking soda for detergent/cleaning purposes. I know baking soda is just sodium bicarbonate but will it still work to get rid of shoe odor even if it's really expired? (They have probably been expired for probably more than 4/5 months now) Any quick tips on how to get rid of shoe odor quickly and easily with home remedies are welcome!

The baking soda should be fine for this purpose. The reason there is an expiration date is because you might not get the right chemical reaction for cooking, but I believe it will still work on the odor. To keep from getting smelly shoes, always wear socks. Change them often if you have sweaty feet. If your feet stink a lot even with daily washing, you can put a couple of pinches of the baking soda into your socks before you put them on.

I absolutely hate satin shoes which is all they have in bridal shops. I want white leather shoes but not boring court shoes and nothing too pointy as I have big feet that don't need to look any bigger! Anyone got any ideas? I am in the UK.

I don't know about white leather shoes, but have you thought about maybe switching your shoe color? I found a great pair of pink suede peeptoe pumps with a rhinestone dangly heart from Guess. That was a few years ago....I love them and plan to wear them at my wedding next spring. Just an idea...

Where does a girl with BIG feet shop for shoes?
For once I'd like to wear pretty girlie shoes! Like heels over an inch, or shoes that aren't made for bigfoot! I live in Canada so I wear a size 11.5 to 12 ladies Most stores do not carry these sizes, in fact, none that I'm aware of (other than payless, but the quality sucks) If anyone with the same crippling condition or anyone who simply knows where I can score pretty shoes and feel like a woman for once, that would be awesome. I live close enough to Toronto to visit and I have no problem buying via internet. Thanks!

I have the same problem! If I could change anything about myself, it would be to change to a size 10. I'm a 12. Zappos has good shoes. They have a filter so that you can just search for shoes that are a size 12, and also wide width and stuff like that. Also, try ebay. I get a lot of shoes from there. I don't live in Canada, but do you have Nordstrom? Nordstrom The Rack carries up to a 13 and there are TONS. But they are a little pricey, but designer brands. Payless carries 12, but like you said, they're crap. For sneakers, I wear men's shoes. Converse!

Why do women with ugly feet gross me out? Do other guys feel this way? Why?
I have a thing with woman's feet and I don't know why. If a woman has big, ugly feet with long toes or yellow, chipped toenails I get grossed out. As a teen, I once turned down a date because the girl had nasty feet! My wife has the prettiest feet ever and when she asked me what her best features were I said her face and her feet. She always knew I liked her feet but I don't think she knew the extent. She isn't weirded out by it or anything but I can tell it really has her baffled. She keeps asking "Why FEET?" and teasing me and trying to figure out what made me this way. I don't know why, for as long as I can remember, it was always a turn-on to see women with pretty, groomed feet wearing sexy shoes. I am a normal guy and I am into breasts, behinds and curves as well...but if a woman has ugly feet, to me it just ruins the whole package! Is this weird? Or do other guys feel this way about women's feet? And why? Men? Ladies? If it matters I am in my 20's.....and the only reason I can think of for my foot thing was maybe my older brother who had smelly, nasty, big gross feet! So maybe I associate big, ugly gross feet with guys?? I don't know... And to answer the person who asked....NO this never stopped me from having an intimate relationship with a woman! LOL! It is a factor when I decide if I am attracted to a woman....but I don't need feet to be aroused or anything like that...Like I said I am a normal guy, mostly turned on by normal 'guy' stuff like p0rn!

Basically high heeled womens shoes are a symbol of feminine beauty that has been linked to the sexual atraction center of his brain. This is INCREDBLY common and nearly all men have experienced this at some level... For some men its large breasts, or stockings/pantyhose but its always the same principle. As long as it doesnt effect you love making or do any other damage its completely harmless.
