Your Questions About Steve Madden Shoes For Cheap

Susan asks…

Shoe Broke In Public! Ever Happen To You? Where Were You?What Did You Do?

Awhile back I was walking on the Las Vegas Strip with some of my friends at about 1am. We were walking from the Manadaly Bay back to Caesars Palace. All of a sudden my sandal broke! My sandals were not cheap flip flops. These were Steve Madden high heeled thong sandals. They lasted while hanging in the Rum Jungle but on the way out I get out of a cocktail waitresses way and my shoe hit something and my side of my sandal snapped! Was going to check out another club, but ended up not going since it's a few miles to walk to the car. No place was open at 2am on the strip to buy shoes. So, we finished up by walking barefoot from Mandalay Bay to Caesars. Stopped into Fatburger and ended up eating barefoot. At least I wasn't the only one doing that since other girls heels are hurting them by then. Anyway, where were you when this happened? Did you either: a) try to walk with the broken shoe even for miles b) Wear one shoe/ sandal/ flip flop and one bare foot. or c) end up going barefoot (Even going in someplace you normally wouldn't go without shoes) (Buying a pair of shoes isn't an answer, since you had to do A B or C to get there) Let's create some really good LOLs :)

Our pick of the answers:

Did you know, shoes made with manmade soles and heels have a certain life span? They won't last one day past it, either. Twice over the years, I chose old but still nice looking shoes from my closet, to wear. The second time, I chose this set of pumps I'd worn to work in for about 5 years. They'd been in the back of my closet ever since, for a couple of years. But that day, I had a doctor's appt, and I chose these heels because they went well with the outfit I was wearing. My husband asked me what that stuff was, all over the floor before we ever left home. I didn't know. At the doctor's waiting room, he noticed junk on the carpet all around my feet. And I realized it was the heels of those shoes. They were crumbling all around me. I walked in for my appointment stocking footed. Afterwards, the soles were coming apart. We went to Burger King for lunch, and big pieces of sole were dropping onto the floor. By the time we left there, no soles at all. Just tops. We ran across the street to WalMart, and I got tennis shoes. Put the old shoes into the box and wore the tennis shoes home. I was really embarrased when the cashier opened the shoe box and saw those awful shoes! A definite life span. Yup. And when it's over, it's over.

I was at Kings Island which is an amusement park aha. So basically I had a broken flip flop and they wouldn't let me in the store without wearing both of my shoes. I had to walk around across the whole amusement park with one broken flip flop until I got to the store. It's really hard to do it with a broken strap -_-
