my ankles and mostly heels hurt...is it something called spikes?

yeah. we i play softball, run, and do alot of things, or im just sitting and all of a sudden my heel is just killing me, sometimes its in my ankle. I am 12 so its not old age. my mom said it might be something like spikes or something? where parts of your bones rub against something??? help me?

You are probably on the verge of heel spurs or already have them. I once had these but I was working with a woman who was going to the doctor for hers and so I did all the same things she did and I got better without paying a doctor. First thing is to go to a medical supply store and buy those hard insoles with a good arch support. Then buy some of the ace bandage type things at the drugstore that fit over the foot and the heel is exposed. This is what the doctor told her to do. She put these ace bandage things on, put the insoles in running shoes that also had a good arch support and the doctor even put gauze under her arch for more support. The idea is to support the arch and allow the tendon that stretches from the ball of the foot to the heel to mend itself. When this tendon is stretched too much that is what causes the heel pain (heel spurs). I don't remember how long I wore these. I was doing a job that required standing all day and it was several years ago. I hope this helps. I took Ibuprophen for pain.

Yes they do! I normally wear a 6 1/2 but when shopping for Coach shoes a sales woman told me they usually are a little bigger so I bought a size 6 in two dif. Styles the "jenney" style that i bought fit really good and then i bought the other converse looking style now those fit me good but are a little looser..hope i helped

How can a t-shirt look cool?

Over this summer i usually have a tons of dull and not in fashion t-shirts just like a cat drinking water design in my t-shirt. When i try to use jewerlies or heels my mom always comment it doesn't look good she prefer flats and no jewerlies... But hope you can help me to dress up my t-shirts cool even some jewerlies included i really dont have a fashion sense thanks!

Well skinny jeans look good or maybe you could wear a high wasted skirt that'll cover up the shirt partially and show off your legs instead. I wouldn't wear formal heels with a t-shirt but wedges would look good. Flats can look good too. You could wear sandals in the summer. They look cool and fashionable. They would look good over a high-low skirt or a maxi. The right jacket over it can look really good. Accessorise well: a nice casual scarf, a belt, necklace, earrings or bracelet will make a difference. If you can't change the clothing, why not change your hairstyle or makeup to look really good. Then your clothes won't matter if you look great. Wear what you want. If you think something doesn't look good, simply don't wear it or buy it.

How can I keep my heel from coming out of my shoes?

Homecoming is coming up and I need help with my shoes. I have them, everything is fine except for the heel. Is there anything I can do to stop my heel from coming out of the shoe when I walk? I want to try something before I get new shoes. Thanks in advance.

If your heel is coming out, then one of the following is happening: 1) your shoes are too large 2) your feet are between sizes 3) your feet are narrower than normal If #1, then you can use a Dr. Scholl's pad cut up and put in between your heel and the shoe (not under the heel). Next time you buy shoes try a half size smaller. If #2, then do the same thing in #1, but you may have to always do this (or find shoes that run a little on the small side). If #3, then you can use a Dr Scholl's pad, but this time use one specifically for lady's heels and use the whole pad as they are intended. This should lift your foot up enough to make up the difference and prevent your foot from sliding forward, which is what often happens with narrow feet in normal or wide shoes. Next time you buy shoes, try on the ones specifically for narrow feet.

Do you find high heeled leather boots make you more intimidating?

I love high heeled leather boots!! I feel powerful and sexy when I wear them. Front lace boots are OK for some things; depends on the style and occasion that you will wear them. Side zips are good, too. All of these styles are good for different occasions and according to their style. I like black boots and brown, too because they can be worn with more styles that I personally have. I also have a pair of great super high heeled boots in a very soft creme colored leather. They are great!! Men seem to really like it when you wear high heeled boots! Intimidated? I am not sure about that but I know they do find it sexy!!

Like I'm going to be 14 and I got this beautiful dress I wanna wear with high heels. The thing is idk how high the heels should be. I tried my mom's 2" wedges for an important event and it was a little difficult cause there was no strap for my ankle. So how high should the heels be that is not to mature for my age???

Wearing too high high a heel is in the long run going to affect your spine.... However, once in a while is fine...just don't make it a habit. Start with something you're comfortable with maybe 1.5-2 inch heels and preferably one with straps as it will keep you grounded... No point trying to start off with something too high if you're uncomfortable and then hurting your feet in the process.... It's possible to tear a ligament if you aren't too steady....and trust me you don't want to be suffering a torn ligament, I'd know.... Also, you'll have plenty of time and chances to wear what you want when you're comfortable with it when you're a little older....don't hurry the growing up process :) hope this helped....
