Is Christian Grey from the book Fifty Shades of Grey a vampire?

It's based off the Twilight series so wouldn't that make him a vampire too? Or is he just a normal person?

He is a human, but the author originally intended the story to be a Twilight FanFic. Christian was originally supposed to be Edward himself, but the author rewrote the whole thing to eliminate the fantasy elements.

I just finished the books and can't wait for the movie. What are you guys, (if you all read it) thoughts?
