Your Questions About Court Shoes

Mary asks…

Can I wear volleyball court shoes on the tennis court?

I bought a pair of court shoes thinking they were tennis shoes turns out they were volleyball shoes. can i wear them on the tennis court. whats the difference just wondering ? and no they arent the kind with the orange rubber on the sole they are plain non marking soles

Our pick of the answers:

They should be fine for a while. Soles of tennis shoes generally lasts longer since they are made to withstand all kinds of surfaces. If you look at the ridges on the soles of the shoes, they are made for traction specifically for the movements on the tennis court. Volleyball shoes don't have that characteristic. There is not enough lateral support on the volleyball shoes either. If you just started playing, those shoes should work alright. If you are into the sport hardcore, you should get the shoes that specifically is made for tennis. In the long run, the tennis shoes would protect you and your feet

Lizzie asks…

What can I wear with blue court shoes?

I've seen some really gorgeus blue court shoes i want, but i dont know what i could wear with it... any suggestions?

Our pick of the answers:

Heya. Well bright coloured courts are great for dresses! But dont wear a full blue dress with your blue courts - be a little more subtle and wear a dres with some blue in it (see link) and then match it with the courts. Same with goes with other colours too! :) Some colour combos go too such as blue and black so a black dress with blue earings, bracelets, necklace and then the shoes :) Blue and Red are great too. Difference shades of blue together etc etc. Leg warmers arw a great way of making court shoes less formal, wearing them with skinny jeans and a longish sexy top is great! - again having the top with a little blue is great. White, black, grey leg warmers are great with blue courts. Hope ive helped. Gdluck x F x
