why in Delhi there isnt any sandals size 11 or 12 or13?

I have travelled to Delhi several times. I have noticed there are alot of beautiful sandals and the prices are cheaper. But unfortunately the sizes are smaller. My size is 12. Any idea where I can get sandals size 11 or 12. The ladies in delhi wearing smaller size sandals?

How much of a height advantage do heels actually give you?

Like, do 5-inch heels really make you five inches taller? I'm just curious because an added 5 inches could make a slightly taller woman taller than quite a few men.

Nope. Heels make your feet slope down a lot, so as the foot bends, your entire body goes down a little. Roughly, 5 inch heels would make you 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 inches taller. Now with most platform shoes, because they are flatter to your feet, you gain a little more. Say 5 inch platforms can make you 4 inches taller.

What causes dry and cracked heels and fingers?

My fingers and heels are very dry, and sometimes cracked and painful. I have been trying all kinds of creams, but nothing really works. Someone told me that I needed to take certain kind of vitamins. Who knows what vitamin I should take?

You could try taking vitamin E - most caused for me by my house having dry air, I cured this last year by buying a warm mist humidifier for my home and run it all the time. I also use Avon for extremely dry skin and use that, with super glue to seal the cracks in my fingers until they heal. Working hands cream before you go to bed with socks on your feet. Avon also carries a foot cream for cracked heels that works well.

Help me find my prom shoes.?

Why some men are obsessed with high heels?

I noticed that when I wear heels men look more at me... Most of them would look at my legs and then at my face but others stick to the heels... Especially when I wear 4in heels.. Like they would turn their heads when they hear the clicking sound and look at my feet until I'm out of their sight... Can someone explain that to me? Does it happens to you? And how does it make you feel?

Because men doesn't have to wear them!!!!!!!!!! If they did, they would be trying to get them banned!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are uncomfortable, very unsafe, and destroys your feet....Although sexy looking, your feet aren't designed to be arched like that. OMG, because I have flat feet and wore a 11 w shoe...it would kill me to even see a cute shoe that big and be in a high heel!!!!!!!!!! I told the sales lady...why in the world do people make shoes that are obviously for a bigger gal-11 w shoe size and then make them in a heel and stick them in the air---like big bird!!!!!! LOL. When I shattered both bones and my ankle in my left leg---in flats btw, but on black ice---I put on more weight because I was laid up several months and was in a wheelchair---when I lost 250 lbs...I also lost 3 sizes in my feet. But to allow the swelling in my bad leg/foot--I still have to get 1 size bigger to allow for swelling.

Do Italian men have a special connection with black women?

I don't know if it is a myth or what but I have heard of Italian men having a black or mulatto girl fantasy. I don't want to generalize but if you have been in a situation like that or knows anyone who has can you please comment. Thanks :)

Men, period, have a connection with women - no matter the ethnicity. Unless they have an interest in men only. Each man's fantasy is different from another, so who's to say what they desire. To address some comments about some Italians being racists, therefore, they don't want to be intimate with a lady of color. I beg to differ. It may be true for some, but not all. People will say one thing and do another. For example: Slavery. Some hated blacks, yet, they had no problems creeping at night to get their groove on with them. Think about it. And for those of you who would find it necessary to state "black girls are ugly," "ewwww," or "black chicks are disgusting" should not generalize a group of people as such. That's just straight up disrespectful! Your preference may not be black women but you don't have to diss one group in order to make your point. Put the shoe on the other foot...how would you feel if such statements were said about your mother, sister, wife, etc.? Think before you state such mess. Be blessed.

How come tall women appear taller than a man of equal height?

Forget heels i'm just talking about normal barefoot or regular shoes. For example a 5'10 or 5'11 girl to me seems taller than 5'10 or 5'11 man.Big boned tall women appear even more taller as well. Would like your opinion on this.

I believe that it has to do with how we interpret things we've seen on a cognitive level, in other words we've become used to seeing ladies as being considerably shorter than men on average, thus when we see one who is to the right of the curve, we interpret this as her "appearing taller." We don't adjust for the fact that the man is the same height, but instead we perceive her as being "taller" than the corresponding male of the same height. I don't believe that cognitive psychology holds much water but it's, perhaps, the best theory that I can come up with (until more sophisticated imaging can come up with the real answer). Excellent question.

Fashionistas/Heel Wearers, Help!?

I bought a pair of heels last night for a special event tonight. They were the most comfortable of all the heels I tried on last night, but when I put them on this morning they are hurting my toes. :-( Also, I realized they are very slippery on hard surfaces. Is there something I can get to make them more comfortable and to make me less likely to slip and fall? The bad thing is, we're supposed to get bad weather tonight too! This is a very special occasion, I don't want it to be ruined by a cute pair of heels! Thanks for your help! P.S. I don't wear heels very much...maybe that's the problem.

Don't worry, these pair of heels wont ruin your special event! To make the heels more comfortable throughout the night, you could use a product that helps prevent foot aches and pains, (like this http://www.drscholls.com/includes/images/products/large/Insoles/For-Her-High-Heel_l.png ). These work quite, well from personal experience. Slip a plaster or two in your bag before going out, in case you have any blisters or rubbing problems during the night. During the evening, try to take smaller steps to prevent slipping. And i know this sounds strange, but before you go out to prevent your heels slipping, use a cheese grater to make the bottom of your heel have more friction between surfaces (trust me this works). The day after the event, soak your feet in some nice warm water, or draw a relaxing bath. This will make your feet feel much better. And also the day after, try to avoid wearing high heels - your feet will thank you! I hope you have a fantastic time at the event - hope I've helped oxoxo

So I have big feet Lol and I can never find a shoe store that has my size, I've had to get boy shoes for years now and I don't like it. I want a nice pink or red shoe that's made for girls. all the ones I see in the guys section have black or brown on them and I don't like them. I do my shoe shopping online as well but can never find anything. the ones online I went to were suprafootwear, addidas, journeys, dsw, and footlocker. Stores that sell wide shoes for women?

I have really wide feet. Really wide. I have tried on lots of shoes that people with supposedly "wide" feet have, but my feet are even wider than that. I wear size 7.5 or 8. I don't know for sure because I've always had to go up in size. I have been looking for a store or something that sells fancy wide shoes for women. Like heels, flats, sandals. But nice and fashionable, and not super expensive. If you know of any stores like this I would appreciate it.
