I need a cute pair of shoes for under $40 American?

They will be worn on a somewhat regular basis. I normally wear skirts and shorts in the summer. Do you have amy ideas? What does your favorite pair look like? Pictures would be great too. Oh and they should be comfortable.

Your Questions About High Heels Without Heel

how do you walk high heels?

I want to learn to walk 4'' heels, i bought them for a party but never wore heels before, tried to but i feel my legs wobly like they gonna colapse lol. Any tips?????? thank you!

Those are some high heels to learn on! Any possibility that you could borrow some lower heels to practice with first? Its easier to work up to the higher heel rather than jump right into them, and you could turn your ankle (not fun for the party to have a sprained ankle!) I would start with a 2" kitten heel and once you learn to balance without wobbling, move up to a 3", then the 4". If you don't have much time before the party, maybe rethink the shoes. Nothing like taking a spill at a party in front of some cute guy to kind of ruin your evening!

blisters and high heels?

i have to wear high heels tonight but i have really bad blister on my heel...ive put a million bandages on my foot but what can i do so that i can walk in the heels without it killing?

Give your blisters a break. Wear something else, such as flats. Or if it's emergency101 situation just wear slippers in the car and when you get there slip the shoes on. And just in case band-aids slip, put on some sheer hoses/knee high socks. They should keep them in place. Oh and popping the blister on purpose is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. (The fluid stuck inside the blister is liquid that acts like a serum to heal your would that was caused by damage from a burn, shoe, etc.) You'll be screaming in more pain, and it leaves an ugly scar. Don't listen to that person!

Ladies, do you have big feet and are proud of it?

For some reason, most females seem to shy away from having large feet. If they have them, they apologize. But why? Nicely pedicured large feet can be very sexy. There's more to like, and it is a sexy challenge for some guys - who are already challenged on height if you wear heels. So girls, if you have significant size feet (not US size 10, but size 11, 12 and up), do you beautify and flaunt them?

Running spikes are just shoes, and in your case, have no heel support since sprinters run on their toes. In the front of the shoes there are holes where you screw in the spikes. I recommend the metal spikes though. They do improve your time by shaving off 1-2 seconds. I do recommend them since I also run the 100m! I don't heel strike... Your body isn't actually designed to heel strike. Your ankles and knees act as shock absorbers if you run biomechanically correct. "ChiRunning" is a terrific book on proper running form. I read the first half of this and found it very helpful. It is fairly inexpensive and a fairly easy read. Watch a child run, age 7 or younger. Kids run with perfect running form. They haven't been told any crap from someone that doesn't know their butt from their forehead (i.e. Pump your arms, stride out, etc.) and they live relatively stress-free lives. Old habits die hard and this takes focus. Step 1: Plum Line We learn to walk before we learn to run. And we learn to stand before we learn to walk. The same applies to chaning the way we run: we need to change the way we stand and the way we walk if we want to run with proper running form. Find a full-length mirror. Stand with your side facing it and take note of your posture. "Connect the dots" between your ear, your shoulder, you hip, your knee, and your ankle. This line is probably not straight. Straighten the line while looking into the mirror. You will do this by utilizing your stomach, not your butt. There should be a plum line through those 5 points, 90 degrees perpendicular to the ground. If you are find this difficult or even painful, you may want to consider seeing a chiropractor. Practice standing and walking like this. Once you have it down, you're ready to start jogging with proper running form. Now that you have your body aligned for maximum efficiency, all that you have to do is lean forward... Step 2: Lean Forward With your body aligned, simply lean forward. This will shift your center of gravity in front of your foot. Gravity will cause you to begin to fall forward. Step 3: Pick up Your Feet Don't let yourself fall! Pick up your feet. You are now using gravity to help propel you forward. That's It! That's really all there is to it. The biggest challenges are to discipline yourself to maintain proper mechanics and developing the core strength necessary to maintain your body's proper alignment. Tip: A helpful way to remind yourself to check and maintain proper body alignment is to set your watch's countdown timer to go off every 5 minutes. This is a helpful reminder to take a second to do a self-check on your form. As running properly becomes habitual, you could increase the countdown intervals to 10, 15, 20 minutes, and so on.

Why,in general, do men never wear stilettos, high heels, even short men?

Yet most women's shoes are high Lowjoy Now where did I state I wanted that? Below him That is why I put stilletos I am aware some boots have a (lowish) higher heel Most c Pmsl I can envisage it :)

Why do women often wear high heels even if they are not comfortable? I think that women like to be taller than the men because it confers them superiority and put the shorter man in embarassement. Is this true? Are there women who like to tower over the males?

Heels put the feet in a position that enlongates the leg (making it appear slimmer) and accentuates calf muscles (which is a very hard area to develop tone for a woman). And it also is very difficult to have poor posture when wearing heels, in a way it helps you to "think taller" and elongate your spine. They are not as uncomfortable as you might think, i personally only wear those that are comfortable. But the old adage "pain is beauty" is somewhat true, stillettos hurt like a bytch but hot damn! Do they look good on us LOL EDIT: oh and btw I'm naturally 5'9 barefoot, so i already "tower" over some men, superiority isn;t the issue, fashion is.

Should a law be passed requiring men to get a Pedicure before putting on flipflops or open toe sandals?

I am so tired of seeing nasty looking feet and toes on men ( and some women too! ) when the weather starts getting warm. So, what do you think.....should a law be passed for this?

O yes!! I totally agree. The law should be for men and women!! I was out in my city on Saturday night and saw so many rusty, crusty,nasty feet that night.And ladies paint your toes please!! Even if it's a light color cuz your feet are not cute without it.And I live by that rule.I paint my own toes cuz I do nail art and that night I hadn't finished them so I had on closed-toed shoes.We need to spend the word!!

How attractive does a nice business suit help make a man?

Friend of mine told me that women have told him that good looking business suits on men is like lingerie is for women. So does having a nice business suit and tie with dress slacks, dress shoes, etc. make a man look good? If so why or why not? This is what my feeling or impression of it is. Women like successful men with class, status, prestige, good jobs etc. Wearing an expensive suit conveys that a man has all of that. I have a business and I wear khaki pants with a polo shirt for a uniform. Wearing a suit and tie with my business is completely impractical and would make me look stupid. I never have a reason to put on a suit and tie as I am not going to dress up and go for some drinks or dinner in a suit and tie unless it is for a formal date.

A man who appears successful as well as attractive is often very intimidating and not a guy that I would want to be around. Most of those successful guys have had tons of experiece using women for sex, and will probably sense your weakness. Most of these hardcore buisness men actually scare me because a buisnessman actually screwed me when I was 18, literally 90 lbs, and attractive.. One of them banged me....well its me peaches, so you seen my photo.. Most of these buisness men prefer you be 18 years young...t, most of these women are probably unaware of it and spread their legs anyways. Most of these succesful guys spent their college years and youth being the nerdy guy that no girl wanted. They don't want to spend their successful years banging an old lady..would you? They like young girls that are 18... The want the best, they worked hard for what they got
