Why does the Republican party continue to have all this religious/cultural stuff in their platform?
There are some normal Republicans who just believe in conservative principles and small government, but they are more and more over shadowed by the crazy religious and cultural "conservatives" who are only concerned with banning gay marriage, legislating a woman's uterus and other such "family values." These are issues that don't even belong in politics.

Right to work for less . Right to pay women less . Right to limit workers bargaining rights in the business cycle . Right to deny women's access to public health care . Right to give wealthy more tax loopholes and breaks . Where can one join this cult ?
