The clear mules look less stripper-ish than the black ones. If the black pair had a normal looking heel, instead of those silly stacked balls, they would look good too. Those black ones look like they belong in a porno.

It's all about how you pair them, that will complete the look. Go somewhat casual with skinny jeans and a loose fitting top, or do it like the celebs do and pair them with a tight dress (to the knee or slightly shorter). It is a trend, so probably not a shoe you will want to wear forever, so don't worry about buying a "classic" color or a neutral. It's a funky shoe so be bold with extreme colors and patterns!
