Your Questions About Ladies Shoes For Men

Mandy asks…

Do any of you ladies know of an easy way to walk downhill in high heels?

I'm going to be in a wedding next week and I recently found out that its an outside wedding and all the bridesmaids have to walk down this ramp in heels and we wont have a man to escort us til we get down the ramp. I'll have flowers in my hand so I can't hold on to any railings(which would look tacky anyway)I'm scared im gonna fall and embarrass myself because we all have to wear heels. Oh did i mention the ramp is cobblestone.

Our pick of the answers:

Yes! This is not a complete solution; however, it can help. This are not bad for what you need. Http://thesolemates.com/our-products/store2 Also, practice! If you have time before maybe at the rehersal dinner or before try walking with the same shoes you are going to wear that day. As some said walk on your toes before placing full weight on your heel. Have you ever seen how models or misses walk down the stairs? They do ir almost side ways go down like that. It will be fine! Good luck and try to go practice before!

Mary asks…

Where should a 35 year old man shop for stylish clothes?

I am 35 years old and I keep fit and in good shape. I'm muscular and trim and take good care of my body. However, I have the worst sense of fashion. I buy my clothes on sale at Target and Kohls and while they look ok and fit me well, they are plain and don't make me stand out. Can anyone offer advice on where to shop to be more fashionable, to find clothes that make me look good and consequently feel good? Maybe something the ladies would find appealing? I live in Southern California. I'm not necessarily looking for massively expensive and exclusive designers, but I'm certainly willing to spend some more to look better. Thanks for your help!

Our pick of the answers:

Whatever you bought at Target or Ohlls DO NOT LOOK OK OR FIT WELL. That's #1 AT 35 you should be dressing like a grown man - tailored clothes. Brooks Brothers, Joseph Abboud, Ferragamo, Zegna, Hugo Boss... They cost a good deal more than you are used to, but the right choices will last many years - always QUALITY over QUANTITY.... Maybe Banana Republic or J Crew for less expensive, casual items. SHoes are especially importnant - think Allen Edmunds.
