Your Questions About Womens Fashion Shoes Uk

Nancy asks…

How to get Eliza Doolittle's fashion sense?

I've fallen in love with Eliza Doolittle, and her quirky fashion sense. Does anyone know where I can get clothes in her style? Like how she pairs colourful dresses with high-tops, and printed shirts and things like that. I'm from the UK, so I don't know if we have the same stores as in some other places. Thanks everyone! x

Our pick of the answers:

Like you, I also love Eliza Doolittle's fashion and it isn't that hard to achieve. First thing: High tops. They are pretty simple, you can get them almost anywhere and even though they can be expensive, it is your chose how much you choose to spend. These shoes from Nike are very eliza: http://www.office.co.uk/womens/nike/wmns_blazer/20/8009/28600/1/1?fs=8009 http://www.office.co.uk/mens/nike/blazer_hi_suede_vntage/21/8816/27903/1/1?fs=8816 http://www.office.co.uk/mens/nike/blazer_mid/21/2368/30423/1/1?fs=2368 To achieve Eliza's style you want to put these high tops with outfits that wouldn't usually be worn with high tops. This creates a quirky style and adds an edge to her vintage fashion sense. Next are the shorts. Eliza is very much the queen of shorts and is seen in them almost all the time. Vintage levi cutoffs are good because they are cheap (ranging from £10-£20 dependent on where you live, london vintage stores are considerably cheaper) and can be worn with all outfits. They also look great with hightops and little socks. Here are a few other pairs of shorts that are not denim: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=5380696&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208529&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20 http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=5047741&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208529&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20 http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=4952777&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208529&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20 Urban outfitters is also good for shorts, but can be a lot more expensive. Aside from hightops and shorts, Eliza's wardrobe is a lot simpler. Plain shirts look great with colourful shorts and so do t-shirts with picture or writing on. Although it's good to love Eliza Doolittles you also want to create a style that is your own :) I hope this helps!

Firstly to answer your question - yes secondly accessories (im assuming its a grassy wedding) shoes - heels are fab for weddings but any mention of grass and they spell distater! Due to sink-age this however is such an awesome dress that it needs heels (or wedges) to get around this you can get little cups which stop you sinking (you cant see them when ur on the grass and theyr slim so you can just pop them in ur bag for the reception go for a cute wee blazer in black (?) http://www.polyvore.com/satin_collar_tuxedo_blazer_womens/thing?id=9744876 its classy and re-wearable it also covers you up a bit (depending on how churchy they are - its rude to show your shoulder in church) also by injecting a bit of black it makes finding other accessories easier its a beautiful colour of pink but it might be difficult to match exactly if you were invited as a bridesmaid its obvious that they value you as part of the family so you need to look the part and be prepared to be involved in quite a few photos for this you need a hat or a fascinator judging by your dress choice id say go funky and pic up a fascinator! You can have lots of fun with these working with big almost hat ones or little quirky ones you can go for black and pink to keep the colours together http://www.polyvore.com/black_pink_purple_fiesta_fascinator/thing?id=822543 http://www.prettycool.co.uk/pink-black--red-fascinator-a568-2600-p.asp or just black http://www.fashionaddict.com.au/fashion-blog/index.php/tag/black-feather-fascinators/ http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/black-velvet-mini-top-hat http://www.dolcedolce.com/wp-content/uploads/blavk.jpg or just pink (just pink might be more difficult) http://www.accessories-for-me.co.uk/shop/dusky-pink-loop-fascinator-p-298.html?language=en&currency=USD http://www.titfer-designs.co.uk/pink-fascinator-hat-73-p.asp http://www.fashionaddict.com.au/fashion-blog/index.php/tag/hair-fascinators/ http://wildviolet.com.au/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/kandy_kate_fascinator.315171158.jpg clearly iv gone over board, but i hope it helps!!
