Your Questions About Heels With Red Bottoms

Nancy asks…

Is it bad etiquette to wear sandals with raggedy toenails and yellow corns?

Coming to a 4th of July celebration near you: The toenails are dry, raggedy, chipped. The cuticles are white and flaking. The lil toes have yellow corns. The heels are cracked with white lines and red flakes. There is a black plantar wart on the bottom of the right one. You think the world is ready to see these feet walking around on the 4th of July?

Our pick of the answers:

I don't think anyone would barely notice or care as they'd probably be celebrating 4th of July.

Lisa asks…

How can I play soccer with blisters on my feet?

Yesterday was my first practice in a month, i noticed my feet were hurting and it affected my play. After practice I notice blisters on both of my pinky toes, and on the ball of both of my feet. The skin on both of the toe blisters came off and some red flesh is exposed (about the size of a dime). The blisters on the bottom of my feet haven't yet popped. I have a game today, what should i do to play with maximum comfort? Why would i get blisters like these now, i have never had them before.

Our pick of the answers:

Well you will need to pop out the liquid from your heels then put on all blisters some disinfectant ointment and some baby powder. After wards you need to wrap all the blister spots for example the toes you need to wrap them with some gauze bandage not alot but enough to make a whole turn around the toe after wards need to wrap on top with medical tape or some good sticky tape to avoid the bandage to move around so need to put both tight if not done properly will fall off. Do the same with the heel one you probably need a little more warping since is a larger area specially on the sticky tape to secure it. All these won't prevent you from feeling a little pain when walking, running etc. Put will prevent the rush, friction on the already affected areas. After playing need to keep treating the blisters with disi nfectant ointment and healing ointment. Blister can appear any time due to continuesly rushing on the skin due to prolonged friction with shoes.
