Your Questions About Heels Without Heel For Sale

Linda asks…

Can I wear high heels for my interview?

I have an interview with a pharmaceutical company, and it's mostly sales based. It looks like a lot of the women working there wear high heels with their outfits. I have a pair of 4 inch stiletto heeled pumps (black) that look really classy. I was going to wear them with black dress pants and a nice white top so I can look professional. The heels will give me some added height. I'm only 5'4. Will 4 inch heels work ok for this?

Our pick of the answers:

Oh yeah, i would wear them without a second thought. Of course i might be biased, i have been living in 5" heels since the late 90's and often like to wear 6" and 7" ballet heels (but those only have a place in the bedroom, so don't try wearing them out) in fact i kind of have to wear heels over flats, i can't wear flats as my feet are no longer used to them. So naturally i love stilettos even more then the average girl.

Helen asks…

is 5 ft 6 too tall for 5 inch heels?

Our pick of the answers:

Your height is irrelevant. It is your shoe size which determines how high a heel you can get away with, without becoming wobbly and unstable. A Lady Friend of mine could barely pull off 5 inch heels (without having platforms) with a woman's size 11 shoe. If you have a smaller shoe size, it will be that much more difficult for you to NOT wobble around. Wobbling on your heels is NOT attractive... Better to go with a lower stable heel than a higher unstable heel. Simply TRY walking in them and see for yourself how high you can go without falling flat on you face or twisting an ankle. Visit a shoe store where they have an actual sales person who will measure and fit your foot properly so you know exactly what size you NEED. According to my Lady Friend, there is NO need for heels to be uncomfortable if you have the right size. She wore her heels, usually 4", to work every day and since they were properly fitted, were NOT uncomfortable.
