What can you wear with this high low skirt?

I thought this skirt was really cute and had to buy it. There is a picture below. It hits about my knees in the front and high on my calf in the back. Now that I brought it home and am having difficulty pairing and styling it, I might return it.. I want to know what I can wear with it? Top and show wise :) I don't know if a flowy, or tight fitted shirt will work best. For the shoes as well, I am confused about. Flats, wedges, flip flops, I'm very confused! & I'm not a pro in heels, so if you could please suggest heels with a low, maybe 3 inch heel, if not I learn quick!
