At what age does a child usually stop growing?

My bf's daughter is 9 1/2 yrs old and is about 5'4" tall. Her shoe size is 11 in womens!! She obviously gets it from her father, he's 6'4" and wears 12 in men's shoes. When does a child usually stop growing???

Why is it so hard to find cute clothes for my 11 year old daughter?

She is almost 12, but she still likes the cute clothes they make for young girls, like Cheetah Girls, Hannah Montana, etc., but they all stop at size 16. She needs a little more room than that, so I have to buy her juniors, which are really too grown looking. Even Limited Too has very little that fits her. Why can't manufacturers make clothes for little girls in larger sizes? Old Navy, Hollister, Abercrombie etc are more for teens. Their clothes are more grown up; she is 11!!! She likes High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Disney, not the plain jane stuff they have at Gap and Old Navy, etc.

My daughter will be 12 in Nov. And she is 5"5' and wears a size 11 womens shoe. She is no where near fat but she wears like a 10 in women's pant because of the way they make the juniors these days. She also likes the Hannah Montana style and I have found it very hard to buy clothes for her. She seems to like going to Kohl's and has found some cute things.
