Do high heels ever get comfortABLE?

i bought some really high heels and i cannot wear them. they hurt so much. but this seems to be a problem for me in all high heels. i never wear high heels. will my feet ever get used to them? cause they make my legs look really good and i would love to wear them sometimes. but i cannot take the pain. furthermore, if i buy cheap ones are they bound to hurt? so to conclude. my feet hurt. is it because i bought cheap shoes that have not been broken in, or is it cause high heels hurt?
