New Balance shoes are made in the United States and come in more widths than other brands. Get fitted at a running store and you can buy the same shoe on-line at their factory store. I have a great training shoe for $50 through the factory store. Try Nike, Addidas, Saucony, Reebok... Don't settle for the first shoe that feels good; try them all on.
