Your Questions About Court Shoes Nike

Mary asks…

Are there different basketball shoes for different basketball positions?

Are there different basketball shoes for different basketball positions? I mean does a PGs' shoes differ from a SGs' shoes and Sf's shoes and so on? And if so how? What specifications should be looked for when purchasing basketball shoes for PG or SG?

Our pick of the answers:

Basically there's two different kinds of basketball shoes, those for who play in the front court and those for who play in the backcourt. For example, the Nike Air Max with all the bubbles are aimed towards forwards and centers, where as the lighter weight Foamposite ae aimed towards guards.

Donna asks…

What is a good sneaker to use in outdoor basketball courts?

I have alot of Jordan sneakers and I don't want to ruin them by playing basketball outdoor. I'd rather use them to play strictly on an indoor basketball court and/or use them casually BUT carefully lol whenever i go out and about.

Our pick of the answers:

My all time fav is the nike battleground but nike hv stop the battleground model. I've heard good reviews about Lebron III,IV and V for outdoor purpose but for me its too heavy since i'm a pointguard..(i'm asian) I'v been rocking the nike cradle rock low Steve Nash for a year now and its awesome. I also own Kobe IV, Hyperdunk Low and Adidas Cut-Creator Low and i think adidas top them all. Btw, i dont think signature series/model is suitable for outdoor basketball for xmple Jordan,Kobe etc etc bcoz they seem to worn out very fast. I'd suggest u get urself a medium price/level shoes and just wear it with no worries. Googling the subject would help too. Happy balling mate!
