"Large food-canning machines feature pipes in excess of 200 degrees Fahrenheit," said an inventor from Stockton, Calif. "When workers need to service the food lines, they need to take special care to avoid being burned. To help these workers out, I invented this tool."
He created a prototype for the PIPE CLAMP SOCKET to speed up the process of unclamping a food product line that is 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The tool enables workers to keep their distance when working on large food-canning machines. This reduces the risk of burns from the hot juice or product paste that is pumped into food lines. The invention is designed to enhance personal safety. Additionally, it is quicker to use than a crescent wrench.
The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
