what type of shoes should i wear when i cross dress?

when i crossdress i wear (other than under wear) a knee lenght black skirt and a tucked in tight fit t-shirt , the only other thing i really need now are shoes but i dont know what to get. ive worked out that im a womens size 12 but i can fit into size 9 after a struggle. but i dont know what style to ware (sneakers , flats , heels , brogue ect) ? also where should i get them from? any help would be apreciated thanks
