Linda asks…
What are some good shoes for volleyball?
As in PUMAS, NIKE, JORDAN, ETC... last year i wore these tore up vans and i don't want that to happen THIS year, so please any shoes would work! Thanks.
Our pick of the answers:
There are some great women's volleyball shoes that are available as well. Which ones are the best in my opinion? I like the Mizuno Women's Wave Lightning 6 shoe. It also has to do with the shock technology that is used. This pair uses what is called Pebax Parallel Mizuno Wave Technology. I have no clue what that means other than it is way for them to sound cool and justify the price they charge! In all seriousness, the technology disperses the shock amongst the foot and reduces the wear and tear on the legs from repeated jumping. The sole of the shoe provides stability and traction on the court. Plus, this particular shoe comes in all kinds of sizes to accomodate any team's colors. Of course this is a key feature. It is important to not only play good, but to look good while doing it. Good luck :) also mizunos asics are good shoes. But some nikes, addidas will do just fine :)
Laura asks…
What to wear to court when hugely pregnant?
I am forced to appear in court the 1st, and will be having my c section the second. I have no money to get anything new. So khakis and a polo? Or black pants and a tunic top, printed? Having trouble with shoes, none fit- so risk sandals or squeeze into black pumps? Would white keds be ok with the khakis?
Our pick of the answers:
Don't do white with khaki. That's a terrible look. Go with the black pant and printed tunic top with sandals. If the judge wants to say something smart; well, hopefully he/she will know better with a 9 month pregnant woman!
