Jenny asks…
what is a good way to start wearing high heels?
I want to start wearing heels, but I don't really like the look of small heels. If I'm going to start wearing shoes with high heels, what kind should I be looking for? What do you find are most comfortable for dancing, walking, etc?
Our pick of the answers:
Wedges are definitely the most comfortable! But if you do want to wear heels then look for ones with a platform on the bottom because they are easier to walk in. Also if you practice walking i the for 10 minutes each day for a week you will be a pro in no time. When i was learning someone told me to forget about the show and just think about your feet (imagine you are walking barefoot) also try not to see a shadow in between your legs (walk one foot in front of the other) hope this helps! Best answer me!
Sandy asks…
How can I get my strapless high heels to stop slipping off my feet?
I have very shallow heels so the backs of my slip-on shoes always slip off and turn into noisy flip-flops when I walk. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Our pick of the answers:
All shoe stores sell adhesive pads that peel off and you can stick them on the back of your heel, inside the shoe. This stops slipping. They're called HEEL GRIPS. Wal-Mart has them in the shoe department. Target may have them. Payless has them. Get the PADDED kind, not the corduroy kind. Padded ones are thicker and give better support to the ankle. They work. They cost less than $2.
