what is the most effecient way to manage inventory of shoe retail chain stores?
Shoes have many varieties for sizes, colors and genders for only one article. so it is very difficult to maintain the inventory cost to a tolerance level. For 1 article u have to keep 20 pairs as stock.

If you intend on being competitive then you are going to have to have the more common sizes such as men's size 9 or women's size 7.5 no one thinks that you are going to carry size 13 for ladies, but you should be able to obtain them within three work days. The other shoes should be sat up on an automatic re-order system . Once it is scanned at the register then that will automatically order a replacement for the shoes going out the door. Some of the more commonly sold shoes you may want to maintain more than one pr., but you can determine that after you have been doing it for a while

What is the average shoe size for a 7yr old girl?
My daughter just turned 7 and is in a size 6,The lady said she can now get shoes from the womens area.Just curious what size other girls her age are in,
