Donna asks…
What shoes would go with a vintage 1920's type bronze prom dress?
The dress is bronze, and very very vintage looking. It's my prom dress, but I have no clue what sort of shoe to wear with it. I'm thinking maybe loafer-type black heels, like they wore in the 20s. But I don't know if that will look bad with the bronze. The dress has a lacy top, and beaded straps, and a metallicy looking bronze bottom that flows to the floor. So I guess the shoes won't be seen very much, but I still want them to look right.

Our pick of the answers:
I think it depends on what dress you're wearing and what color. Flats would work, or heels but not to much of a high heel.

Sandy asks…
How do I get paint off of shoes?
Well, I just bought a pair of black, suede high heels. I was wearing them around my house, to break them, and the bad news is, I tripped down my stairs (don't worry I'm okay) But I guess my shoes hit my walls in my staircase, I have bright yellow walls. Now I have a few splatters of yellow paint on them, and I really want them off. So, how do I get the paint off, without ruining my shoes?

Our pick of the answers:
If the paint was dry when it went on, use a brass suede brush. If it was wet when it went on, take the shoes to a specialist cleaner. They use the modern greener equivalents of carbon tetrachloride which were used many years ago.
