Mandy asks…
How much to sell my clothes in garage sale?
CLOTHES (All in good shape/Barely worn) Wet seal cardigan Rue 21 tops DKNY hoodie (Never worn but no tag) Jessica Louise lace top Guess halter top J.Crew tops Old Navy 2 piece bathing suit. Striped bathing suit 2 piece (Halter top/Not brand name) Plain tops/camis (not brand name) Skinny Jeans (not brand name) Black & Brown dress pants with tags still on Etnie shoes (kind of worn but not bad) American Eagle slip ons (Barely worn) Reasonable prices of course, since it's a garage sale.. but is it okay to go a little higher on the name brand things...especially the DKNY and GUESS stuff?
Our pick of the answers:
In the beginning or a garage sale your supply is up and has not been picked over, pieces can go for $3- $7. Keeping in mind people will try to haggle you down and the idea is to sell it. By the afternoon expect things to sell for $1-$5. Good luck.
Linda asks…
How much should I sell my things for at a garage sale?
CLOTHES (All in good shape/Barely worn) Wet seal cardigan Rue 21 tops DKNY hoodie (Never worn but no tag) Jessica Louise lace top Guess halter top J.Crew tops Old Navy 2 piece bathing suit. Striped bathing suit 2 piece (Halter top/Not brand name) Plain tops/camis (not brand name) Skinny Jeans (not brand name) Black & Brown dress pants with tags still on Etnie shoes (kind of worn but not bad at all) American Eagle slip ons (Barely worn) Never used pink zebra cell phone cover Belts/Wallets Hello Kitty purses Tons of chapter books Jewlery making kit (Need the money for help with college, but I know it's a garage sale so reasonable prices of course!) Thanks in advance!!!:D I made $100 last year...so I'm expecting to make more than $5 this year lol especially since I have much more things. didn't even notice it was in cars & transportation til now. Sorry that I was in a hurry?
Our pick of the answers:
Clothes - No more that $5, I don't care whose label it is. Accessories - $2 - $3 Shoes - $3 Books - 25 - 50 cents Everything else price ot at $1 and don't turn down any offer. You are much better off getting rid of it all and selling it cheap then wasting the day and then hauling half of it to Goodwill when you close.
