Your Questions About Fifty Shades Of Grey

Linda asks…

What is the book fifty shades of grey about?

Well that's pretty much all I want to know. What is the book fifty shades of grey about? And the two books in the series after it :P ?? Thanks :)

Our pick of the answers:

"When literature student Anastasia Steele is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for her campus magazine, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time. Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever." http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/j/e-l-james/fifty-shades-of-grey.htm

Maria asks…

What Would You Do if A Nine Year Old Did a Book Report for School on Fifty Shades of Grey?

My cousin stole my Aunt's copy of Fifty Shades of Grey and she wrote an entire book report on it for school. She gave it to me to proof read, and I don't know what to say. What should I do?

Our pick of the answers:

I would laugh my ass off. Then, after putting on a so lemn expression, I would praise her creativity. Then I would explain that most people will expect certain behavior in certain situations from her for all her life, and that reading and writing reviews for written porn is NOT something they expect from her in grade school. It can prove to be a bit damaging to the families reputation--AKA a supremely awkward parent-teacher meeting-- and her grades. Perhaps write down some of the DO's and DONT'S, just in case. Tell her that while the paper is a good one (if it is) she should probably write it on something else.
