Jenny asks…
What are the most comfortable shoes you've ever had?
While I've seen this question asked before I wanted to fine tune it and direct it to the ladies most likely to be in the same boat. I am middle aged and have had surgery on one foot and suffer from plantar faciitis and neuromas etc., by now all the younger girls have jumped out of this question : ) So to continue, after looking endlessly on the internet I came across some shoes called Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole. According to my budget they are pricey (200 - 300) but to be able to wear a high(er) heel even 2 inches would not only boost my morale but make a dress look nicer. They are supposed to have insoles with Flaxseed that mold to your foot, like memory foam. So are there any ladies out there who would have any experience in this area and who could recommend shoes that I might possibly be able to try? Tks!! so much I am overwhelmed by the response, the suggestions and that almighty feeling that "I am not alone". What a great resource for information Yahoo answers is!! and to the person that suggested moccasins, I wouldn't be mistaken if I said that wearing stuff like that in my teens was what the beginning of abusing my feet. I hope that young women today, take that to heart. You may look great and walk around all sore for a while, but when you get older, your tootsies will rebel! Thanks to all.

The most comfortable shoes I ever wore were my SAS nursing shoes; not stylish AT ALL! Here are a few options; I've worn most of these brands. I just have to try the shoes on; my feet are short, wide, with a very high instep and I've had plantar fasciitis many times. Alex Marie: I've only worn these once so far, but they feel great. I love the "kitten" heels.
