Carol asks…
Ladies, do you continue to wear high heels even though they cause pain and injury?
I'm a guy, and I'm definitely a leg man, and I greatly appreciate when a woman with nice legs wears high heels. However, my gfs and female friends talk about problems wearing high heels, but they continue to do so. I'm curious as to why is that the case? Is it peer pressure—or fashion pressure?
Our pick of the answers:
Girls wear high heels because they know guys think high heels are hot. But i think the reason why they still wear t hem even though they cause pain with their feet, is because they think the heels look good with their outfits and i also, think it is little bit of fashion pressure and mostly peer pressure because they don't want there friends making fun of them if they wear shoes that are not high heels and don't look good. Also, they could have bought cheap shoes that are not good for their feet that could be the reason why the high heels give them pain.
Sharon asks…
Is Cali, Colombia an expensive city to visit? What are the costs of travelling around Cali, Colombia?
Are shoes and clothes expensive for men and women and also, how much is it to cut your hair in a barbershop and how much is to do your hair in a salon including manicures and pedicures?
Our pick of the answers:
From a Canadian perspective.. I was renting apartasuites for about 50- 60 per night, good neighborhoods lots of friendly staff and secure. Eating out in a restaurant costs about half, 5- 10 CAD per person with drinks but our average bill for 2 was about $10. Taxis rock, 3-4 dollars will actually take you somewhere. Airport is not in Cali so paid around $20 for that taxi. I had only one haircut, it was in the airport so maybe expensive, was same as Canada nearly $20. Also we were offered thin braiding, corn rows, by a lady, she wanted around $15 per person. Clothing is expensive actually. I believe it`s all Colombian made, and excellent quality. A T-shirt cost me $20 in the Parque de Cafe` and one pair of shoes was $90, really nice shoes but not the best. Colombians are big on quality and appearance, clothing salons and manicures will not be cheap, those are prob the most expensive things actually, but the rest is about half CAD or less. We went on a splurge, bought my wife some underwear 3-4 pcs, one swimsuit, a dress and some other odds and ends for me and her, spent $600 CAD on that. Current exchange rate is approx 1750 COP- 1 CAD.
