I cant wear heels at all, so what kind of shoe/boots can i wear to suit this minidress?

I had polio as a child and cos of that i am unable to wear heels at all the most i can wear is an inch heel. I love fashion so much and love clothes and shoes but i find myself limited to a number of things i can wear cos everything seems to fit well with heels and since i cant wear that i feel very self-conscious about wearing flats on a nite out when am my mates are in heels. I'm not that comfortable with heels myself and prefer to wear flats whenever possible, so i kinda know where you're coming from. Boots without heels look wierd. I'd say go for a cute pair of ballerina flats, in a bold metallic colour like silver, bronze etc. Or you could also try a pair of gladiator sandals. Do you know where I can buy heels 8" or higher...?

I was looking for some 12" heels, but the only person I can find who has them is Lady Gaga.... so do you know where I can find any, or at least above 8" in the UK? Is there a good online store or something?
