Sharon asks…
What would you do if you lost your high heels during a client meeting!?
Its not that simple, I went to a client meeting at a construction site in my pinstripe tailored suit, with matching pencil skirt, tan nylons and a pair of black peep toe patent leather Gucci stilettos. Unfortunately, the night before it rained a lot and when I reached the construction site there was no one there. I called my client and he told me they were already on the 7th floor and to make my way there. I noticed a small wooden gangplank leading from the sidewalk all the way across the incredibly muddy site to the cemented ground floor of the apartment block being built. Suffice it to say halfway across the rickety and narrow wooden beams, that were still wet from the showers the night before, I stumbled, and as I didn't want to fall face first into the mud, I moved my feet in front to try and stop myself from falling. Unfortunately, both my feet went straight in the mud and I sank to my knees in incredibly, horrifically cold sticky mud!! I screamed for help and luckily a few site workers rushed to help me. Here comes the worst part though… As soon as they pulled me out I immediately felt suction building against my feet and felt the cold mud pouring into my shoes! Yes, they were coming of me! I told them to stop pulling me, but they didn't listen and as a consequence out I came without my shoes!!! What would you do?

Our pick of the answers:
PLEASE READ: ArrrG! What a disaster never mind the embarrassment that you must have experienced its the shoes that are more important! Lolz.. No doubt they was really expensive and i feel for you- but there is nothing you can do really.. Mud is a difficult thing to get out of clothes never mind shoes- so if you was to fish them out of the mud they wud be ruined- after all you can not put them in the washing machine (well i suppose you could try i guess). I think the best thing to do is to move on and compensate your loss with a brand new pair of gucci shoes.. This way you will forget all about your loss.. Above all you should seriously think about suing the company after all construction site is really dangerous and you was lucky not to hurt yourself.. Goodness knows what would happened if it was a old person or child.. Style should never be compromised so dont listen to others who tell you to bring sneakers (or has we in the uk call them trainers loz) just go careful next time!! Hope This Helps x

Our pick of the answers:
I work for the Kings County District Attorney's Office. I am an Assistant District Attorney and I work in the Domestic Violence Bureau. I prosecute stalkers frequently and have had expert training on the methods of stalking and the differences between a person who is dangerous and someone who is just trying to harrass or annoy. I can tell you in no uncertain terms that the behavior you described points to someone who is EXTREMELY dangerous. Call the police IMMEDIATELY and move. Tell the people at your job not to let him anywhere near the place, and if you ever see him for any reason call the police immediately. Do not confront him or say anything to him whatsoever.
