Your Questions About Stilettos

Mary asks…

What are you thoughts on womens burton stiletto bindings?

So i just bought some 2012 burton stiletto bindings. Any thoughts on them? & are the stiletto EST's any better?

Our pick of the answers:

The Stilettos are good bindings. You'll be happy with them, they are solid. The EST version is the same, it is just made so that it can mount to channel boards, while the Re:Flex/normal ones are for non-channel boards.

Sandra asks…

what is the difference between a spike and a stiletto heel?

i always thought the stiletto was a thinner, sharper heel then the spike, but this question came up the other day at work and every body had a different answer. what makes a stiletto a stiletto? diameter? height ? or are spikes and stilettos the same thing, but called a stiletto if it is worn during sex.

Our pick of the answers:

A spiked heel ends in a spike or at least I think so...The stiletto is also a spiked type of heel however I believe the stiletto shoe is just a long skinny heel and it does not seem to have a height requirement as I found that these were considered stiletto http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/pumps/pointed-toe/71977943-jolicoeur/91 and most have that similar looking heel http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/pumps/pointed-toe/72092426-lardydell/95 http://www.bakersshoes.com/product.aspx?p=65424&cs=1 Spike heels seem to take on any shape prior to the heel ending in a point http://www.dimoutshoes.com/6--spiked-metal-heel-shoes-scream-14.html http://www.allhighheelshoes.com/asccustompages/products.asp?fav=&fpage=1&categoryID=92&productID=2005&cartID=764750232 so honestly not much difference i'm pretty sure you would have to walk in them the same way...
