Would these shoes look ok with socks on?

I can't decide. I'd much rather wear socks with them but my mum thinks they would look better without. These are my school shoes now. Opinions? http://www.schuh.co.uk/rocket-dog/womens-black-rocket-dog-randy/1370587060 I always wear trousers to school.

Are you asking from a fashion point? Are your trousers cropped or full length? Actually whether they're cropped or not or whether the socks look good or not you need to where socks with those shoes. If not your feet can sweat and you'll have smelly feet and shoes. You can't really see them anyway if you wear trousers. Now, I understand the school look with the knee high socks, but it's not exactly a trend as much as you just prefer these kind of socks with these kind of shoes. Most people tend to wear no show socks that match their skin color so you can't even tell the difference. In the end it's up to you. I can see both you and your mother's points of view. Perhaps you should just get some different pairs of socks and try them out until you find what's best. Best of luck to you!
