Mandy asks…
Suggestions on business casual outfit ideas for the summer?
I have to commute everyday to work an hour and a half by busing/walking this starting this may, and so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on outfits that would be appropriate to wear when it's really hot outside? (I'll be working in an office, and the dress code is business casual) Thanks!
Our pick of the answers:
Well cotton fabric dresses/skirts/shirts are best to wear because the fabric is breathable. Oh and you can take simple casual dresses or skirts and dress them up by either adding a cardigan or lightweight blazer. Some of the pictures show dresses and skirts that are a bit short but you can still find similar outfits that are business appropriate. And i wouldn't recommend wearing too form fitting clothes because in may i don't know if that would be too comfortable, but here are some links for recommendations: scroll down a little bit on this site to the dress http://www.becauseclothing.com/casual-dress-for-women.html some of these blouses would look great with a cardigan or blazer or by itself http://www.hm.com/us/subdepartment/LADIES?Nr=4294929524 skirts http://www.hm.com/us/product/98979?article=98979-C , http://www.hm.com/us/product/97075?article=97075-E , http://www.hm.com/us/product/00703?article=00703-A blazers http://www.hm.com/us/subdepartment/LADIES?Nr=4294926803 dress http://www.hm.com/us/product/99083?article=99083-B finally, i personally like vera wang or nine west shoes

Where can one get good dress shoes for the best price in the Washington DC Metropolitan area?
Please don't say payless shoesource....I hate that store.
Our pick of the answers:
Try Macy's sales rack or even Nine west.
