Do you ever get over being head over heels in love for a ex?

if your with your ex , first love and fiancee for 2 years, and very much in love and very head over heels. will you ever fully get over them? Especially when after a year of dumping her and not having no contact your still very much head over heels for her ,and she was in your thoughts every day? You also have regrets of dumping her. Do you fully get over that, and what will it be like if you ever came face to face, do feelings come back?
