I posted this already but many users weren't online can you quickly check out this women's social services initiative: safiyasocialservices.weebly.com what do you think - is there a need for something like this? how do i let ppl know? and i would buy a proper website name once i know that there's an actual demand for it What types of initiatives does our ummah need?
Salam. This is great mashaAllah - but I think you need to get a sister like Amanda on-board as the Advisor - she is quite focused on practical solutions for the Ummah and especially for our sisters, as her answer already shows - and she is in a good position to see the Ummah from outside, as well as inside, being a revert, but also being someone I know personally as an intelligent person. I think you will first need to research your area and community to begin simply, advertise in local muslim community centres or mosques (and a good way is to speak with those already active within your community and known for their taqwa and knowledge) - begin by focusing first on the main issues in the community - eg, if there are a lot of reverts in the area, then focus on helping in what they need help in first (which will probably involve learning the basics, supporting them, helping them fit in with the community by connecting to other good and knowledgeable sisters, homelessness, and other issues they may be faced with from their non-muslim families, etc) Eventually you can add a marriage service, looking for spouses - this is always important - as well as knowledge circles for sisters - these and all else will need someone with significant knowledge, sister for the sisters) Another important focus is funding the service, and becomming self-sufficient. The ideas on the site are good - you can begin with donation and volunteers . And generally, if you start doing good work, inshaAllah some brothers/sisters will notice and help in this area - and if it is sincere, Allah swt will help it inshaAllah. Using volunteers who contribute their time, wealth, and expertise - and the sincere will inshaAllah - especially if you are sincere in this project and promote the reality of every sacrifice for Islam being eternally and supremely rewarded - can be an excellent way to being independent and self-sufficient - as well as effortlessly providing a lot of valuable services - it will help unite the community even. There are a lot of amazing possibilities if such an initiative is sincere and has a few sincere brothers/sisters who will sacrifice for its success. Just some thoughts - theoretically, it is excellent - fulfilling many islamic obligations, such as da'wah to Allah swt, helping other believers, helping the oppressed amongst the nonmuslim women, encouraging goodness and knowledge, etc - For social services to be truly helpful, it needs to be easily accessible, accomodating, simple, etc - as those who generally require these services are already in difficulties. Since there is not much info given on the site or on this question, we can't speak on specifics - but generally, this is a great initiative, if it leads to a revival of tawheed, love of Islam, promotion of Islam within non-muslims expecially women - many of whom are silently suffering under the falsehood that they are liberated - and a return to knowledge, and rebuilding muslim communities strictly upon Qur'an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf. It can eventually end up being a platform on which Islam is promoted and made prominent within the muslim communities, many of whom are severely ignorant, and amongst nonmuslims - this is also how the Prophet saws started his daw'ah, and how he was helped by people and believed in - and many ayaat revealed on it. Eg surah 107 (The Small Kindnesses) - which connects social services with Iman. Wassalam.

Social issues are just as much part of a nominee's platform as foreign policies and economic policies. Yes, many people decided on this election based on the President's ideology on gay marriage. I've seen it in this section before. I wasn't one of those people, because I currently live in Canada half the time, and I couldn't make it in for election day. (I have dual citizenship because of my parents, but I've lived at both and still come the US pretty often). However, when looking at US History, plenty of people voted for Woodrow Wilson's second term because they knew something would come out of the Women's Suffrage movement. I don't care how "good" your fiscal policy may be; if your social policy consists of another group of people being mistreated, I'm not voting for you. You may have the best economic policy, but if your social policy consists of reinstating the Back-to-Africa movement, I'm not voting for you. Kyle, I'm not answering that. If you're a US citizen in the politics section, you should be familiar with US history. Otherwise you're only making it worse for everyone else. Also, the US economy is SUPPOSED to be half socialistic. That's how it works. It's half socialism and half capitalism. That's why you don't pay a monthly firefighter insurance. However, after much fear mongering from the right, the word socialism has an undeserved negative connotation, when both socialism and capitalism can be horrific when standing alone.
They're still bitter about the results of this election.

Anyone know where I can find heels that look similar or knock-offs? This is the pic of them. http://www.people.com/people/gallery/0,,20232788_3,00.html
I've yet to see any knock-offs or similar looking heels to the Chanel pistol stilettos. On the other hand, I have seen people purchase the actual Chanel heels--they're gorgeous in silver. Your best bet is probably to save up some cash and check out EBay.

Not necessarily but it would be a smart thing to do. Besides, they're getting cuter.

I was walkin in a forest. Then, all off a sudden, I was in a long corridor. The corridor had walls either side - glass walls - they were like stained glass windows that you find i churches, but with playing cards on them like Kings and queens. The bottom of the glass corridor was stained glass too, with playing cards on. There was no top to the corridor. I looked around and the glass corridor was in the sky - bright blue with white fluffy clouds, and when I looked down, the corrior was held up by gold poles. The corridor went on and on forever and when i looked down, that seemed to go on forever too. I looked at my feet and I was wearing high heels, one bright red, and the other green. i was wearing a beautiful dress - it was like a dutch dress with patterns on it. I had long red flowing hair and my lips were red and I was pale. It was like a fairy tale. There were doves in the sky, Then all of a sudden there were people banging on the glass and staring through at me - most of them were familiar faces. It seemed like everyone I'd ever know was staring through at me. I started screaming, but i couldn't speak, i could only scream. And as i screamed the people who i didn't know as much disappeared and my mother, my father and my other family members were stood looking through at me from the sky. They faded away as i screamed at them to help and banged back. Then they were joined by the dead relatives from my fanily that i never knew - like my granmother. All the characters were pale white. I closed my eyes and when I opened them again, they were gone and all i saw was doves baging on the glass as they flew past. I was still banging and then all of a sudden the heels on my shoes turned to daggers and i found myself falling throught the glass. I could feel the breeze as i couldn't for some reason when I was inside the corridor (although it had no top). I was really scared and as i fell, all of a sudden i was caught under the arms by two guards that looked familiar, but were dressed like in alice in wonderland, with the wigs, and tights and stupid costumes. They looked stern ans they carried me through the corridor. I was waking up and falling asleep as they carried me. I must have been going along the corridor for years.. but i didn't out up i fight, i was just confused and scared. When we reached the end, I found myself in a red room. I looked at my self in a mirror as we walked past, and i was younger! in the dream i was about 14, but then i was about 9 (i was eleven when i had the dream). It suddenly went dark, then turned into like so sort of castles ruin, with dusty floors and suddenly it turned into a really posh castle, with a banquet and beautiful furniture. i was carried through one room and lead to some place where it was windy and nomal. I was dropped down a sort of well that looked like a lion with its head up and it's mouth open. it was made of stone, and as i was dropped down, all i could see was blackness as i fell. the last part that happened before i woke was that i hit the grassy floor and it was just pitchblack and cold. Can anyone tell me what this dream means?! I really wanna know! you obviously don't know anything about dream interpretation then! if you have nothing usefull to say, then don't bother answering! >=( I didn't mean you, that was a fantastic answer, I meant the first answer.
It's an anxiety dream. You're anxious about growing up. "[A]ll off a sudden, I was in a long corridor", a formal corridor, with kings, queens and knaves (!) lining the walls. A corridor is a place of transition, conducting you from where you were to where you will be, but really are no place themselves. This corridor is made of glass, which exposes you on all sides to the scrutiny of others ("It seemed like everyone I'd ever know was staring through at me"), including relatives you've never met ("Then they were joined by the dead relatives from my fanily that i never knew"). You're completely unprotected in the corridor - the walls and floor are made of glass, and there is no roof to shelter you - so even though all about you is "bright blue [sky] with white fluffy clouds", you begin to scream and don't stop. You're "wearing high heels," a woman's shoes, not a child's, "one bright red" that signals "Stop!", "and the other green" that signals "Go!" This badge of maturity turns dangerous - "all of a sudden the heels on my shoes turned to daggers" and you plunge through the floor of the corridor, making another very scary transition until you're "caught under the arms by two guards that looked familiar" (I suspect one was your father, perhaps the other one, too) and conducted to yet another corridor. At some level you recognize that your dream is about growing up ("I must have been going along the corridor for years"), but that doesn't help you make sense of the dream or of growing up ("i was just confused and scared"). At the end of this second corridor "I found myself in a red room", a thinly veiled reference to another aspect of growing up a young woman. You're confused about your own identity in this dream, both more and less mature than you are in real life("I looked at my self in a mirror as we walked past, and i was younger! In the dream i was about 14, but then i was about 9 (i was eleven when i had the dream)"). Your standing as "princess" (does daddy call you that?) is restored when the red room is transformed into a castle. However, just as things are looking up for you, you're fed to the lions, or at least "a sort of well that looked like a lion", falling again out of control but this time there's no blue sky to be seen. You land on the grass unable to see even where you are, let alone where you might be going. Perhaps you're back in your forest again, a child surrounded by adults so much larger that their legs seem veritable tree trunks, but maybe it's another and still worse transition. That's disturbing, so you wake up. How's that? Do I get a cookie now?

Natural Insight Workforce Management
Sterling, VA (PRWEB) September 27, 2013
Natural Insight®, a retail technology company providing a platform for cloud-based workforce management, has been selected as a finalist for Northern Virginia Technology Council's Mobile Innovation Award. The award finalists are noted for their leadership positions in this innovative and fast-growing sector of technology. Finalists and winners will be celebrated at the NVTC Annual Banquet on October 30, 2013.
"Considering that NVTC is one of the most highly regarded technology organizations in the country, we are pleased that Natural Insight has been nominated alongside other leading mobile innovators such as AirWatch," said Stefan Midford, President and CEO of Natural Insight.
During an interview on the nomination, company Sales & Marketing executive Matt Howard provided a look at why the Natural Insight mobile solution has gained the attention it has:
Q: Tell us more about Natural Insight's technology.
Delivered via the cloud with a rich yet simple mobile optimized HTML5 interface, Natural Insight is a workforce management platform loved as much by end-users as it is by IT administrators. Just as Salesforce disrupted the CRM market, and Workday disrupted the ERP market, Natural Insight is delivering new easy-to-implement innovation disrupting the $ 500 million+ market for WFM in the retail vertical.
Q: How has the market received your solution?
In less than a year, our cloud platform has delivered service to retail workers equipped with more than 500 different types of mobile devices. During the same period, the percentage of mobile traffic on Natural Insight has increased from 17% to 40% -- and soon more than 50% of our traffic will be originating from retail workers equipped with mobile devices. This translates to tens of thousands of unique visits. As smartphones and tablets continue to proliferate into the retail work environment, enterprise customers will insist that cloud-based solutions be fully optimized for any and every type of mobile device and be elegantly designed for end-user satisfaction.
Q: How is Natural Insight unique to clients?
Legacy retail workforce management solutions have been designed to meet corporate IT requirements -- NOT end user requirements. Natural Insight does the exact opposite. We combine persuasive design and gamification into an elegant HTML5 interface that literally makes it easy for in-store employees to do their job. As a result, our retail customers collect better data from in-store employees, leading to better business decisions and improved profit margins.
Q: How is Natural Insight unique to your industry?
Natural Insight gives merchandisers, retailers and product companies an unprecedented ability to create, assign, execute and measure tasks across a vastly distributed workforce -- and with the highest quality results.
The NVTC's nomination of Natural Insight for mobile innovation comes on the heels of the company announcing record revenues, unprecedented customer growth and the addition of senior executive talent to further scale the business.

do they serve in women's pumps? also, would there be a permanent solution other than heel liners if someone has to use them in their shoes? can a podiatrist please tell me more about heel liners and something that might be a permanent solution to a loose shoe. thank you.
There is no medical or anatomical solution if that's what you mean. Heel liners keep a narrow heel from moving up and down in certain shoes. Not all shoes will bother a person with narrow heels, thus the liners are used only in the problem shoes and not all shoes!! : }

I have been wanting and needing some shoes to wear for grad school. I am trying to get a more mature look to me and dress nicer than how I normally do. I am going to leave the "teenage" look behind and start dressing like the young professional that I am. However, I don't want any shoes that look like I am going to a wedding or something. However, I need them to look good enough that I can wear a nice button front shirt and slacks with them and not have them standing out because they are too casual. I also want them to be comfortable. I went to shoe carnival and they had a buy 1 get 1/2 off the second sale and I got two pairs, first, a pair of brown doc marten's http://z.about.com/d/shoes/1/0/G/o/Dr_Martens_Mens_Shoes_Oxfords.jpg and second, a black pair of Steve Madden's http://www.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/85/a/AAAAArLGSpwAAAAAAIWtUQ.jpg Do you think these will look GOOD and be fine with a piar of dockers and a kenneth cole button front, for example. I am going to school to be a social worker, by the way, so I know it wouldn't if I were going into something corporate or banking for example. I would like to be able to wear them with jeans too, why I chose these 2 pairs because money is soo tight in grad school, can't have 5 prs of shoes.
I like the second one. The first one looks old and cheap.

I am looking into getting hair extensions for my hair and i cant decide what to get whether to get real human hair or synthetic! I dont want to spend anymore than $200 but i would rather pay $100 i am probably going to get them from Hairhouse warehouse does anyone know how much they are. I have hair a little past my shoulders and have always wanted long hair!! So if anyone could give me some advise that would be great thanks!!
Best answer is to call Customer Service @ Hairhouse warehouse. Buy one that's 2/$5 from Claire's and practice on that before investing one that's $60 - $600. You can also find hair extensions from LUX or REMY 100% hair, @ your neighborhood Goodwill store, $5.99 if you're lucky STILL in its package, 24" long. Getting extensions are not that easy, like buying shoes. AND if you have problem styling your own hair, add hair extensions to the formula, it will be even harder to style when you have them. People waste tons of money on extensions because it's the new trend. Without doing much research. Then, they come to YA HAIR and ask us questions on how to clip it on their hair, if they can go swimming, play sports, if they can dye or perm, etc. Do you think you'll have time for school, trying to put on hair extensions over 1 hour every morning? Then, they ruin it by dyeing to match their hair. It's really not that simple! Then again, it will not work out if you have thin hair, the clip will be showing through! How embarrassing will that be, if it keeps falling out from your head, if it's not on right!?! I don't mean the clip in ones, I mean the sew in ones, and like where they do them and the price range? And does your hair have to be a certain length to have them?

Lets themoutside in the air in the sun and it will fade away. Unless you wanna clean them in vinegar but then theyll smell like vinegar. Or set them on fire. Haha just kidding. Let the sit outside for a day or two and itll jsut wear off,

I want to buy a pair of fashion women shoes at the cheap price, can you recommend me a good online store?
I guess it depends on what your definition of cheap and fashionable is but I'd suggest going to Payless.com. They actually have cute shoes at good prices. I'm not sure if they have a site but you can also try Charlotte Russe because the shoes in the store are really cute and cheap.

Macadamia Flawless available at www.hairtrade.com
(PRWEB UK) 29 November 2012
Hairtrade.com, the UK's leading retailer of hair extensions, clip in hair extensions, hair care and beauty products is featuring a top hair or beauty brand each week with up to 40% off its RRP.
Each week a different product will be featured, whether it is styling products, shampoo, hair treatments or cosmetics. There will be up to 40% off the original RRP price, giving customers the chance to pick up some of the most wanted products of the season at a fraction of the price.
This week's deal is the newest addition to the Macadamia Natural Oil range – Flawless.
Flawless is a collection of luxurious hair care products designed to rejuvenate hair by combining two natural ingredients, Macadamia and Argan.
It is an innovative system that combines cleansing, conditioning and ideal hair refinement in one product. Immediate and perfect balance is restored to any hair type, giving gentle and thorough surfactant-free hair cleansing.
With a combination of Macadamia Oil and Argan Oil, Flawless works in conjunction with the hair's natural oils, replenishing hair life and health and imparting manageability, shine and softness.
With no stripping suds or parabens, this all in one cleansing and conditioning system will drastically cut down blow drying time, refine the hairs texture and optimise the styling process making hair more manageable.
It is also extremely easy to use by lightly emulsifying 1 to 2 pumps between hands, apply to wet hair and gently massage spreading Flawless over hair and scalp area. Continuously massage throughout the hair for 3 to 5 minutes depending on hair type. Add a splash of water to assist in the spreading if needed. Rinse thoroughly and blow dry hair as normal.
Keven Kou, Managing Director at Hairtrade commented, "We always look to giving something back to our customers so we decided to choose some of the most popular items and discount them each week. Our deals tend to sell out very quickly as they are popular items in the industry at the moment. Recently we discount the Tangle Teezer and it sold out with a couple of hours so we released a further number to keep up with the demand."
The Flawless set contains the all new Flawless along with the Healing Oil Treatment and an Oil Infused Comb for one incredible price with 40% off this week only.
Deals in the past have also included the ever popular Moroccanoil treatment, Paul Mitchell hair care, Clynol styling products and St Tropez false tan to name a few.
Customers are advised to check back each week to be first to get the deal and also to register their email addresses to be updated with the Weekly Deal products.
Customers can also go to the Weekly Deal section at Hairtrade.com to view the upcoming hair care deals.

I need a pair of dress shoes that I can use my orthopedic insoles with. they should be stylish and comfortable enough to dance in. Brand names and style suggestions would be very much appreciated. I'm attending a occasion in a few weeks and I'd like to be dressed up. PS I'm not interested in a 'cure'. Thank you.
Well, although they're pricey, Manolo Blahnik are amazingly comfortable, believe it or not. If you're looking for something cheaper, Nine West shoes are very comfortable. Also, "d' Orsay" style shoes are normally quite comfy. (:

I have a HUGE box of clothes with everything from A&F and Hollister to Nine West and Lacoste clothes in it... I have another box with nice bags and shoes as well... all of my things are pretty well-kept also. How much will I make? I've never gone through the process so I'm a but clueless.
There is no set price to give...as they determine the pricing when the go through your items and analyze the condition of the clothing. I have also noticed that it also depends on the individual deciding the clothing pricing and the Plato's location. In Illinois, it seems that the Chicago stores give more money for the items, as the suburban stores do not. So, your best bet is to go over to your local Plato's and see what they will give you for your items!! Here is the link, http://www.platoscloset.com/how-it-works, for you in case you want to know how their whole process works!! Best of luck!!

I have really narrow feet, im supposed to be a size 9 in womens according to the measure tool in stores, but my feet fit better in an 11 lol, so i bought some vans size 11 in womens. Im scared they look like clown shoes :( What do you think? Should I not wear them? im 5'8
It's hard to know. I know i have really wide feet, and really big feet and no matter what shoes I wear, they are so big. I own a pair of dc's and they are big, size 10 or 11. But they don't look like clown shoes so i wouldn't worry too much. And you should definitely wear them because vans are cool.

I am looking for the right size cause I'm not sure about the board I have now. And what brand would be better for doing tricks? A lighter board? Heavier? Thanks
Its your preference that matters. Go to your local skate shop and feel the diffrent sizes. I usually skate 7.75 and im a size 8. My friend skate 7.5 when he's shoe size is 9.5. Most brands in skateshops are high quality decks.
