Are Jack Purcells (shoes) comfortable and semi-athletic like it was originally intended back in the day?

the converse kinds.. researched jack purcell was a badminton dude and popularized the shoes and designed the shoe to provide more protection and support on badminton courts.. coz im looking for a casual pair of shoes but is comfy enough to withstand a lot of walking.. chucks hurt after long hours of walking and rubber shoes just aint my style.. hehe

Yes i wear gray ones. They look well better than converses and are more comfy. I used to have chucks but threw them away cause my feet bottom bit hurt after walking lots cause it is so soft the bottom. Jack prucells offer lightweight but hard bottom which is good for us walkers. They look more better and more mature than chucks which look kid-ish and are too popular

Would playing on a hard surface give you a headache?

I play badminton on a wooden court. Good shoes too. Anyway there's a particular wooden court that has no give and I get a headache whenever I play there.

Its because the floor doesnt take any of your landing inertia... All your insides get jumbled up and if its your brain, youll get a headache. Simple physics really. Just dont play there
