Jenny asks…
uggs or coach shoes..........?
Ok so my mom said for christmas i can get either uggs or coach shoes. I can't decide which one. uggs:http://www.uggaustralia.com/productdetails.aspx?gID=w&productID=5803&model=Bailey%20Button coach shoes:http://www.google.com/imgres?q=new+barrett+poppy+sneaker&hl=en&sa=X&gbv=2&biw=1138&bih=555&tbm=isch&tbnid=bSVTVcumlUFhlM:&imgrefurl=http://www.polyvore.com/shoes/collection%253 I don't own any uggs or any coach shoes. And i live where it snows a lot but also in the summer it gets hot and such. And i would mainly where them to school and stuff. I wouldn't wear the coach shoes in the winter though because they would be ruined. And i guess i would wear the coach shoes in spring because in summer i wear flip flops and stuff. But they're on sale so i would also be able to get other things besides just shoes. Sorry this is so long lol Thanks in advance.(:

UGG footwear being made from sheepskin is made to be worn all year. The sheepskin naturally "wicks' moisture (sweat) away from your barefeet which in the winter keeps them warm and dry or in the summer cool and dry. With that said you may get more use out of the Uggs. Surfers wear sheepskin footwear on the beach all the time.
Linda asks…
How can you prevent pain from ankle straps?
I need to know how I can prevent chaffing of my ankles when I wear ankle straps. I recently bought the cutest shoes by Guess - called the GW Fountain in Pink at my local Macy's store. What was even sweeter was the fact they on the sale rack AND I also had a coupon that brought them down to $18, quite a steal. I wore them out of the store after buying a top to go with them. I was looking pretty cute so I was telling myself. I continued to do a little shopping in the mall and went home. When I took them off, my ankles were quite sore and the skin had worn off where the straps hit when I walked. I really like the shoes and want to wear them again, but other than wearing Band-Aids, what is the tip to wearing ankle strap wedges? I even loosened up the straps after walking a few steps and found them to be too tight. Thanks for your help.
Our pick of the answers:
It might be whatever the shoe is made out of that is irritating your ankle. If it's leather or another good-quality material, I don't think it should hurt you, but if its a cheaper/imitation material, I don't think there's anything you can do about it except treat your skin where it chaffed. Blood for fashion, baby. PS The two above me are idiots.
