Using tennis shoes for playing basketball indoors?
My boyfriend only likes to play basketball in low top basketball shoes, but has been having trouble finding good ones. Is there a disadvantage to wearing tennis shoes on the basketball court? Tennis shoes vs. basketball shoes?

If you are playing on a hard court than you want a shoe that is going to give you good traction. Most tennis shoes will do the trick. If you are playing on a clay court than you want tennis shoes because most normal indoor shoes will tear up the clay on the court. As long as the shoes you are wearing aren't going to damage the court from your movement than it is really up to you as to which ones you wear, but tennis shoes are always a better option to play in rather than normal gym shoes because they are designed for tennis!
