Ruth asks…
What is the California law for a stiletto knife?
Is it completly illegal to have the knife or does the blade have to be a certain width?
Our pick of the answers:
"Stilletto" just refers to a long, skinny blade style. Now, a lot of people misuse the word to mean an Out-The-Front style switchblade. If that is what you meant, those are legal to own at home, but they are illegal to sell or carry unless the blade us less than 2 inches long. You cannot buy them from out of state online due to federal law, but if you drive to another state and bring it back, it's legal.
Maria asks…
How much is an italian stiletto switchblade knife worth?
My boyfriend got this 9 inch italian stiletto switchblade knife and we can't figure out anywhere online how much its worth?anyone possibly know a bit about knives?
Our pick of the answers:
If it is the kind where the blade comes out the front it's not worth much because those are not very high quality. Maybe $20. Or what ever you can get for it. You might want to check the Smoky Mountain Knife Works web site. They carry most knives. You want to. Be careful with it because switchblades are illegal in most states. Yiu or youe BF could find yourselves arrested if you get caught with it.
