What do you think of "fifty shades of grey"? I was thinking about getting this book but what are your looks on this book? Did you like it or not and why? Thanks :-)

Very poorly written and repetitious. The characters are laughable (a 26 year old billionaire who never works?) who don't seem to have the vocabulary to say more than the same 10 phrases. Every time a new sex game or toy is unveiled the girl blushes and gasps. You'd think after he had her sign a consent contract she'd know what was coming. EL James writes like an oversexed 15 year old boy. I'm all for a steamy read. This one was so badly written that what should've been very hot wasn't even lukewarm.

Fifty Shades of Grey is nothing like Twilight?
I know that Fifty Shades of Grey is a Twilight fan fiction or whatever but it is nothing like Twilight at all. Why is it being compared to Twilight? I've read both by the way.

It was an "All Human" Twilight fanfic. None of them are anything like Twilight - they just use the names. I've no idea why the Twilight fan community tolerates them.
