Carol asks…
so technically, can general peter pace, who is a Marine, tell the Commandant of the Marine Corps.........?
what to do? its strange! lol he is chairman, joint chiefs
Our pick of the answers:
Was Chairman of Joint Chiefs. And the answer is yes. Chairman is senior officer. Technically if he gave him an order he would have to follow it provided it was a legal order. But at that level, there is proper protocol and he wouldn't give such an order.
Donna asks…
Is it required to read all of the books on the Commandant's reading list to get promoted in the Marine Corps?
Just curious, I'm going to read them anyways, but I mostly want to know so I can tell my peers to get reading and have a good reason! Other than the fact that it gets you ahead in general.
Our pick of the answer s:
A lot of things are required in the Corps but that ain't one of them, btw if you're going to any way, make sure your Company Commander, Battalion Commander and most of all, the Regimental Sgt. Major knows it !!! And try not to get any on your nose O K? Semper Fi MARINE !! Thank You 4 your service to Our Great Nation ! Good Night "Chesty" where ever you are !
