Comfort shoe/sandals for old women (age 45-50) with diabetes.?
I am staying at new york.I want to buy pair of shoe/sandal for my Mom and Dad.Both are diabetic and age (45-55) .
Our pick of the answers:
Diabetic neuropathy are the cumulative degradation of nerves due to long term exposure to high glucose levels. One consequence could be that a diabetic may not be able to detect injury to their feet hence the market for diabetic shoes. However, the very same shoes are often sold for a lower price perhaps as still toed shoes to office workers or ma simply be heavier duty shoes to the general market. You can almost find everything that's sold at a premium to diabetics for less if you just look for non-diabetic products. For example Walgreens sells boxes of 90 alcohol swabs in their diabetic section but in the first aid section, they sell boxes of 100 of the same manufacturers swabs for less. Just buy good quality shoes that would be protective.
