Maria asks…
How to make feet look smaller?
im a size 91/2 to 10 in womens...i can't wear heels since im already 5'10 (no heels), so i normally just wear flats...do wearing leggings and round-toed flats make you feet look bigger? Can you tell me ways to make them look smaller other than stuffing my feet into smaller shoes?
Our pick of the answers:
Wear shoes with designs that go accross the foot, this will create an illusion that your foot is shorter than it is. Avoid designs that go lengthways down the shoe as these will highlight the length of your foot. It's the same principle as short guys wearing pinstripe trousers to look taller only the opposite way round.

Does shoe size shrink after weightloss?
I recently bought some shoes online i normally wear a 9.5, but they didnt have that they had a 9. So I ordered that. Im currently on a diet and have lost a good amount of weight. Will my feet shrink too? Also could you give me tips for buying shoes online in the future. For those interested here are the shoes I got!!!..... http://www.heels.com/womens-shoes/consuela-heel-gold.html Thanks....

Hi! It really depends on how heavy you were before, and how much weight you lost. For normal people, shoe size depends on the bone structure of your feet, so it will not change. However, if you were obese, or quiet overweight, your feet might have been bloated, and therefore you wouldn't be able to fit into smaller shoes. If you lost a dramatic amount of weight, your feet might be able to fit in a smaller size. If you only lost a small amount of weight, or you weren't that heavy to begin with, I don't think it would make a difference. My brother went from around 90 kg to 70 kg, and he still wears the same shoes (though they're probably more comfortable now! :D) Hope I answered your question :) Remember, maintain a healthy diet, and try to get in exercise! Good luck!
