What shoes should I wear back to school?

So I am in high school. i am looking for shoes colorful not to bright but girly. I tryed vans but they dont look right on my feet. i like girly/tomboy looking shoes. What are summer shopping must haves?

I am going school shopping soon and I have no idea what to buy! I want to know exactly what I want so if I find something that isn't on my list I won't be tempted to buy it. For all you fashionistas out there, what are the must-haves for back-to-school and fall shopping clothes.

Definitely abercrombie. Bottoms: - denim mini skirt. Bare legged in the summer with flat strappy sandals, or worn with black tights and knee high flat boots in the winter. A very versatile item. Try abercrombie or hollister for this. - jeans (ah-bviously). Go for 3 or 4 pairs in different styles: gray skinny, dark wash bootcuts, shredded light wash, paint splattered, black skinny, flare, etc. But avoid "jeggings." - cargos. Get them in a bright color. Accessories: - long scarf. Just wrap this twice around your neck. Perfect for dressing up any outfit :) - triangular scarf. A square scarf works too, just folded in half. - long dangly necklaces, earrings, and bangles! Forever 21, anthropologie, and american eagle are great for these. Get a gold and silver so you can mix and match easily. - headbands. I use headbands a whooole lot and they can really change up a look. My favorite headband is one that i got at Topshop in London with a big black bow in the side. I get so many compliments on it. Forever 21 or topshop have good selections. - finally, a cute school bag! I got some from american eagle and love them. They're the perfect size and held up really well.
