6 inch heel if you have never worn heels before u should start of with a kitten heel, if you really like them, then all you can do is get them and try, wear then around your house even if your sitting down and yes wear socks with them only when indoors, as this will strech them and wear them in so when you go out your hopefuly wont get blisters as they wont rub
