I am not allowed to wear heels (yet), so how can I pull of the maxi dress or skirt this summer? I'm a bit above 5 foot, so I'm short. The most heel I can wear is a one-inch espadrille shoe or something small like that. So, how do I keep from drowning in the skirt? I am set on maxis...
Maxi dresses are really for tall girls, sorry to tell you that. If you're short it will swamp you and won't look right. If you're short then I would generally say wear high heels and you could pull it off but obviously you can't... Maybe try and find one in the petite range (I'm not sure they do maxi dresses in petites though) or else you will most likely step on the hem or trip over it and you definitely don't want that. Or take the hem up? If you're not allowed heels then maybe a platform or wedge shoe instead?
Mary asks…
i LOVE heels but its hard to wear them when u travel by train and out most of the day. is there a trick that i can use so my feet wont hurt? also..do i REALLY get a sized bigger heel when theres a pointed toe?
Yeah, heels can be a real pain. If a heel's uncomfortable, it just is and there's not a whole lot you can do. If it hurts under the balls of your feet, you can use Party Feet or Foot Petals. As i work in shoes i know for a fact the 'foot petals' by 'Tip Toes' are much better than the Party Feet range. They are spongy little pads you stick in the shoe where the balls of your foot sit - the area where the most pressure is built up. They add cushioning and support. I would definitely recommend buying heels that have a leather upper AND lining. They're much softer on your foot and definitely last longer. Really worth the price. Look around as you can get some real bargains in leather. Synthetic ones tend to rub more and don't hug your foot as good. Crap. Your feet might hurt cos the shoes are tight. You can try stretching them out using a leather stretching spray on the lining (if they're leather lined) or blasting the tight spots with a hairdryer. Otherwise, the heel is just crap and you need to buy better quality ones. When you shop for them, ask the staff for a pair that they know is more comfortable! DO NOT get a bigger size if there is a pointed toe! A pointed toe doesn't at all mean the shoe itself is a size smaller, it just has a different shaped toe which can FEEL smaller cos, obviously, its a pointy toe! In saying that, don't buy a shoe just because it claims it's a size that you are. Use your size as a starter, and work from there finding one that is the right fit regardless of the number it says.

6 inch heel if you have never worn heels before u should start of with a kitten heel, if you really like them, then all you can do is get them and try, wear then around your house even if your sitting down and yes wear socks with them only when indoors, as this will strech them and wear them in so when you go out your hopefuly wont get blisters as they wont rub

Find More Fahrenheit Heels Press ReleasesNew York, NY (PRWEB) October 26, 2014
The Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Manufacturing industry produces automatic fire suppression products for use in residential and nonresidential buildings. Automatic sprinklers typically consist of a network of pipes connected to a building's water supply and can detect heat automatically, releasing water to combat the flames. Because sprinklers are typically installed in new buildings, demand for industry products corresponds to the level of new construction activity in the economy. In the five years to 2014, rapidly growing construction markets have revamped sales of sprinklers, spurring revenue growth operators in the Automatic Fire Sprinkler Manufacturing industry at an estimated 7.9% per year on average. This includes forecast growth of 3.4% over 2014, bringing total revenue to $ 365.0 million.
According to IBISWorld Industry Analyst Amal Ahmad, "The industry is small and heavily consolidated." IBISWorld estimates that 27 companies operate in the industry, with the top two, Tyco and the APi Group, generating over three quarters of annual industry revenue. These companies are able to use economies of scale in production to minimize costs; in addition, they are able to capitalize on brand recognition and established networks with downstream markets to fend off competition. Competition in this industry is both internal and external. Internally, major players must compete with the smaller localized providers who may be better positioned to customize sprinklers to customer specifications. Externally, all industry operators must deal with competition from imports, which has been high and rising over the past decade. Currently, imports of automatic sprinklers satisfy over half of domestic demand, competing on the basis of cost-effectiveness and price.
"The industry is also export-intensive, and, in 2014, is expected to generate just under one half of annual revenue from sales to global markets," says Ahmad. US manufactured automatic sprinkler systems compete in global markets on the basis of high quality and breadth of product offerings. However, operators are facing competition from foreign manufacturers in the global market too, where Chinese sprinklers, for example, sell for much lower. Going forward, IBISWorld expects the industry to continue to benefit from growing construction at home and abroad while grappling with high competition and saturating markets.

I feel men get off every time no matter what. It's almost a gurantee. Women do not, simple. If the shoe was on the other foot and I knew that not everytime we had sex, my man got off I would make sure he did. How can you use someone like this. Get your pleasure and leave her hanging? I feel it is VERY selfish.
I agree, it's not right for a man to satisfy himself each time and not see to it that he satisfies the woman too. I've even known women who say their husband complains if she doesn't enjoy sex with him each time. As if this is her fault and he feels she is cheating him out of enjoying himself even more, because she failed to enjoy it. I'm serious, I've known women who have husbands like this. Or there are men who feel if the woman isn't enjoying the sex then the least she could do is pretend she is enjoying it so it will be good for him. There are a lot of selfish men out there. Some of them even feel that there is no excuse for a woman not to have sex with her husband when she is sick. Why should he have to do without, it's not his fault she's sick. I guess if you let a man treat you like crap, then that's how he will treat you. If you don't speak up and insist that you want to be satisfied too, then he will only concern himself about his own needs. Some men get it! They understand that their wife's needs are just as important as theirs and making their wife happy makes them happy too. Unfortunately there are a lot of men out there who don't get it and never will.

The taps in the kitchen, the door handle leaving the office and metal dividers between desks all give off static shocks. It's a high rise tower in Sydney CBD if that could have anything to do with it. Some days they're not there. Today in different shoes I haven't been getting shocks for instance. Why do we get the shocks? How can we stop them?
The reason you see a difference from some days to others is the humidity. Very hot or very cold tends to be less humid so build up is worse. I would guess the biggest cause is a carpet. Man made materials are bad. Your clothing and shoes can make things worse. The static is on you so anything earthed gives you a shock. You can buy static guard but a carpet would be a large area to spray. I would say you need to get rid of it and go for laminate. A humidifier may help but not in large spaces. Touching the ear of a coworker is a more fun way to discharge yourself but of course doesn't stop the shock.

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 25, 2008
For the first time eye witnesses spoke out as they braved torrential rains in New York City last week which couldn't deter the community leaders, demonstrators, models, business associates, supporters, attorneys as they stood with Anand Jon's family against the alleged injustice incarcerating the fashion designer according to SupportAnandJon.com (SAJ).
Anand Jon is trapped in legal gridlock between New York and California (LA#BA324178) disputing bail thus denying proper defense against he-said/she-said accusations. Supportanandjon.com states, "The current bail is unreasonable at $ 2.5 million not including NY. The shaky charges even include an attempted kiss and inappropriate touching."
"It's ridiculous", a supporter scoffed. "That would put every designer, stylist, tailor and dresser in jail. It's preposterous!"
The NY Criminal Courts Building in Manhattan set the stage as many witnesses are now coming forward to defend Anand Jon. Britney H, a model that worked with Mr. Jon was shocked, "As more people are finding out who these 'accusers' are, the more people will come forward. I know several and they are not being truthful. I was contacted by one of them trying to recruit me against Anand. She was pressuring me to join the campaign. Having worked with Anand on a professional level, he is candid and rough around the edges. But that does not make him a rapist."
Ms. H. received threatening calls to keep quiet. "But how can you keep quiet and send an innocent man to prison? You can't. And all these girls need to look deep within themselves, come clean and tell the truth. Don't follow blindly."
Another witness, Kendall, was present around the same time of another complaining witness' alleged assault. "We were at a dinner party. I saw the girl, she was visibly happy, giggling and was clearly vying for the attention of Anand Jon." She continued, "He is confident and sometimes brutally honest. He speaks what's on his mind, which sometimes comes off as rude. He's like the 'Simon Cowell of fashion'. He is blunt, to the point but always professional."
One of the investors present, Blake M., spoke about Anand Jon's professionalism and business savvy. "I was proud to be a part of the company." Then he mentioned that many of these girls were only trying to scope out who could help them get ahead. "I've seen it with my own eyes."
Liam M., male model, has known Anand for years. "There was a controlled chaos wherever Anand was. There was virtually no drinking, smoking or drugs in Anand's world and certainly not in his clothes. He would milk a glass of champagne at best. It's known that he's a straight shooter."
Michael, Jon manufacturer related that, "Jon was nothing but professional. I can't believe that these girls don't have a conscience. This is just not right."
Gordan Tapper, from the UN, strongly and vehemently spoke for the charitable side of Anand Jon. "He is a good man and doesn't deserve this kind of treatment."
An attorney on hand commented that, "It's that Anand Jon may be that poster boy for prosecutor misconduct. There really needs to be a revamping of the system in light of the Duke University case and now Joe Francis. If individually the counts held no merit, how can they collectively?"
Defense states, "The lack of evidence is amazing with allegations that go back to 2002 with no 911 calls, no girls running down the street screaming 'rape'. In fact, the designer lived in an apartment literally 3 blocks away from the Beverly Hills Police. Most of these girls are claiming that there were even other people present during these 'so-called assaults'."
SAJ feels that prosecutors have gone wild by crucifying him through media then using that media to get additional false charges filed. The shattered image (see Dallas Observer, April 2007), "allowed any disgruntled person that worked with him their opportunity for free publicity and potential money from civil suits while they were promised anonymity."
The Indian Post reported, "The Anand Jon brand was evaluated around $ 10 million with Wall Street prepped to pump in millions. Accusers like Natalie Pack hired civil attorneys like Gloria Allred (#BC379320) in preparation to go after the designer that was to be the next hot brand. Anand Jon worked with sister Sanjana Jon, appeared twice on America's Next Top Model and has worked with Paris and Nicky Hilton, Michelle Rodriguez, Bruce Springsteen, Paula Abdul, Lauren Bush, Lydia Hearst among others."
Court documents show more than 80 percent of New York counts are the same as Los Angeles and Texas where an unusually high bail was set on counts with no material evidence and no prior history of violence. Defense attorneys asserts, "...these complaining witnesses used Anand Jon to get ahead in the industry, attended red carpet events, hung around and freely followed him from state to state after their claims of 'alleged assaults.' Several even became his paying roommates after these 'alleged assaults'."
SupportAnandJon.com questions prosecutor misconduct (as in the Duke case and Joe Francis' recent statements to Greta van Susteren on Fox News 'On the Record'). "Overzealous prosecution are visibly predominant in these cases. An innocent man is being punished without being given a chance to prove his innocence," states SupportAnandJon.com.
Recent hearings uncovered:
SAJ states, "Investigations continue. More people are coming forward in defense, but more are needed. Any information sent to SupportAnandJon @ gmail.com (or 646-338-4636) will be forwarded to investigators."

Would you be able to put a link with the clothing, price doesnt matter, thank you! Its just like a normal 16 year old party..
Hi! :) How about a play suit? They're not too dressy but still look really cute and casual. Here are a few ides (I think River Island have nicest)- Prints like the one on this playsuit are very fashionable this spring/summer: www.riverisland.com/Online/women/playsuits--jumpsuits/playsuits/coralaztecprintedcutoutplaysuit-617689 The bright colors on this one will make any outfit look very summery: www.riverisland.com/Online/women/playsuits--jumpsuits/playsuits/navy-floral-print-belted-playsuit-617715 Florals are also very big in fashion this summer: www.riverisland.com/Online/women/playsuits--jumpsuits/playsuits/white-floral-print-playsuit--618061 Wedge heels are so pretty and look great with any playsuit (or summer dress). Here are some great ones from New Look: These low ones are a step up from gladiator sandals, but are very easy to walk in and look very casual: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/brown-strappy-low-wedge-sandals_238110924 These slightly higher wedges have woven detail and a cute bow/knot, while still not look too overwhelming: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/leather-knotted-woven-heel-wedges_240675555 These strappy leather and cork wedges come in a range of colors so you could match them to your outfit. They also have a pretty buckle detail: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/leather-gladiator-cork-wedge-sandals_240880124 Onto accessories, I think subtle jewellery and a nice bag would really compliment your outfit, while keeping the look laid back and casual. Here are a few ideas- A simple locket pendant necklace can go with any outfit: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=2480205&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208556&parent_categoryId=204484&pageSize=200&refinements=category~[210007|208556]&noOfRefinements=1 Crazy rings are so in style right now and are very popular. They add that bit of fun bling to your look: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=5390490&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208556&parent_categoryId=204484&pageSize=20&refinements=category~[210010|208556]&noOfRefinements=1 Fringed shoulder bags have that chilled festival look to them, as well as fringes being very in fashion: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/bags/tan-freda-fringe-saddle-bag_245318918 Also, adding a belt to any outfit instantly adds shape, something like this one would really match wedges: www.hm.com/gb/product/95940?article=95940-A Finally, if it's a cold/wet day, then you might want to wear a jacket. I recommend either a leather jacket or cropped/sleeveless denim jacket, maybe like either of these: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jackets-and-coats/stonewash-denim-gilet_240935440 Or http://www.missselfridge.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33055&storeId=12554&productId=3748850&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208077&parent_categoryId=208035&pageSize=40 Or http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jackets-and-coats/light-wash-denim-jacket_241432645 Or http://www.next.co.uk/gl9552s4#l14779gl9 This whole look is very summery and casual. I'm really sorry this was such a long answer, but your question was really good and I enjoyed answering it :D I really hope this helps, have a great party!

My daughter has fell on some hard times (who hasnt in this economy), and though I have been helping her out.... her car payment has slipped behind and now the finance agency and the repo man has been calling and doing drive bys. Ok sure they have the right to look because they are trying to obtain the collateral that was used to secure this loan. The thing is she has called me in tears because (based on her description) they are harassing her. And if all she is telling me is true.... they have to be. So my question is : " What constitutes harassment and how to get them to stop "? How many times can they call in a day? How many times can the repo guy come to your house? How can she make this stop? What are the repo man and bank legally allowed to do? In one instance already the repo man has been to her house, her work, her neighbors house, and her ex boyfriends house talking to everyone. Then (and this is when she called me crying) he called and left a nasty message on her stating that he would continuing doing all this until she gave him the car. I told her to save that message and not delete it. She said she is scared now to talk to her friends, she is afraid she will get fired from work, and that her neighbors will not like her anymore if he keeps doing this. I understand so I write you asking.... how much is too much? How can I help her make this stop? Please dont tell me to "pay the loan up and it will stop". I mean this is obvious, and if I could do that for her I would. So basically I am trying to keep my daughter as stressed free as possible. I am trying to keep her "afloat" and she is trying to get things together to eventually pay off the debt or the loan. I understand what they are trying to do, but at this point it seems to have gone too far. I would think that the only thing that should feel at risk here for being lost is the car by this company and its servants. Also, just for my own curiosity, does the repo man have the right to walk around the house or look for anything (especially in a gated back yard) - just dont want this guy looking in her windows while she is safe at home with her daughter or walking around her house possibly scaring them. Is there a no trespassing clause? Also, is she able to be brought up on criminal charges by the bank for theft if the repo man can not recover the car or is this a civil matter? (it is one of those things she need the car to go to work to make the money to eventually pay for the car, yet without the car she cant work and pay off the car). I appreciate your legal insight
Laws vary state to state. Here in Mississippi they cannot enter an enclosed area as long as it is clear the area is secured(gate, barricade, etc.)they can be on the property unless you have posted signs Or you inform them they are not welcome. With posted signs they still have access to use your driveway Or sidewalk to make access to your primary point of entry(front door, carport, etc.) If they do not have a court order and they have been asked to leave but refuse you can have them arrested.... Or shoot them. If they have an order of repossessions they have to have an officer of the peace to enforce it. I've been in your daughters shoes. I made arrangements to have the repo agency listed with my employment as a no trespass for company property. They made mistake of going to my friends house and lost a tow truck....motor accidentally got a 5lb sack of sugar in the tank while they attempted to strong arm us guys. Gotta love those country girls. Legally they have to do things a certain way. But if they get it away from you by their own means they can keep it. If u r in it don't get out, don't give up the keys,if they lay hands on u shoot to kill scream rape draw attention. If they can't move it they can't take it. Park it in a closed garage Or where

I live in a city where all you do is walk and I need to find a nice pair of dress shoes I can wear to a professional job that won't kill my feet. The shoes need to go with a skirt or suit. Any brand names that you found are comfortable? Or specific styles of shoes?
I have found that Franco Sarto and Nine West shoes work best for me. I particularly enjoy these brands because they have stylish shoes with varying degrees of heels---which is important for those of us who have to run around a lot all day! Plus, while they're a bit more pricey than what you might pay for a pair at Target, I think they're worth it. I have a pair of Franco Sartos that I've had since 2002 and they're still in excellent condition and they still sell the exact same shoe today at Macy's! (I'm patting myself on the back right now for selecting a classic, timeless style!) :-) Good luck!

Hi! I am getting married this summer and need to find shoes for me and my bridesmaids. Their dresses are short, so I am looking for a comfortable strappy-sandal with a low heel. (We briefly considered ballet flats, but they don't look right with their dresses.) Has anyone had experience with either Touch Ups or Nine West Dyeables? Are they comfortable? I would be ordering them from a shoe store and wouldn't be able to try them on first. Here are the two styles I like best: http://www.dyeableshoestore.com/dyeable-shoe-store/sandals/low-heel--1----1-7-8-/lynn--1-1-4--heel.asp http://www.dyeableshoestore.com/dyeable-shoe-store/sandals/splendor-2--heel.asp If you have suggestions for other brands, please feel free to let me know. Oh -- they need to be relatively inexpensive and they don't have to be dyeable, as long as they come in a silver or neutral color. Here is the bridesmaid dress if you'd like to see it. The color will be "Pacific Blue." Thanks! Oops. HERE is the bridesmaid dress: http://www.anntaylor.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=5073&N=1200051&pCategoryId=193&categoryId=229&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_229&defaultColorNameFromCategory=Crimson&defaultSizeTypeFromCategory=Misses
I dunno if u ge these shoe brands over in the U.S. But these ranges are gd, type the company names into google: Rainbow shoes= dyeable, low heeled and comfy, some have paddin at the top of the shoe, this also do kids shoes. Fillipa scott= Good designs and have pads at the ball point of the shoe, so no painful feet! Diane Hassal= Hand made designs with extreme comfort!! Abit expensive though. Benjamin Adams= Quite comfy and good designs, but not as comfy as the others. Fifi= Quite alot of strappy styles, but again not as comfortable. And gabriella lucido, there's not many open toe shoes in the collection though. Hope this helps, have a good wedding :)

I want some heels. Don't judge.
Size 12 should be quite adequate, maybe even 11.5. Remember you won't be wearing socks. I am also a mens 10.5, and some size 12 womens shoes are too big.

i'm interested in a heel between 2 and 3 inches, with ankle straps and not sure if that will affect the size
If you cam wear a men's size 9 you would be an 10.5 or 11 in women's. And you may need to buy a wide size show though, men's shoes usually have bigger toe boxes than women's. Men's shoes are typically 1 - 2 sizes smaller than women's. I wear 7.5 in mens and a 8.5 or 9 in womens.
