How to Know what size UGG to buy...! HELP!?
OK so I want these uggs: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Box-UGG-Australia-Charcoal-Fringe-Cardy-Boot-Genuine-WOMENS-Size-8-/190629161204?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item2c626228f4#ht_1880wt_1139 But I dont know what size to buy them in! Ok so I am a 9.5 in like all shoes....I thot that I was going to be smart and get a 10 in knit ugg boots that were the same body shape as the pic that I linked but different design and they ended up being 1 inch to big and they were so big that my heel wud come out of my boot when i walked. Now I read online that you should get a size lower then ur usual shoe size......So if I am a 9.5 in shoes should I get a 9 or 8? Keep in mind they dont have half sizes.....And I heard they run big and after you wear them they stretch out too....so should I go with a 8 or 9? HELP! Thank you sooooo much!
Our pick of the answers:
I'm a 9.5 too and I always get a 9 in Uggs. They fit perfectly and I don't think that they stretch out over time. Go with the 9, it's better to get the closet to your show size; 8 will be wayyyy too small.

Converse Sizing - too big?
Hi, I recently bought a pair of XXHI Converse All-stars (the ones you see in Journeys). This is my second pair of converse, and I am still not sure about the sizing. I normally wear a size 8 (size 39 Euro sizing) sneakers (in Reebok) and flat shoes. I wear a size 7 or 7.5 (size 38) in heels (usually 7 for 3 and 4inch / size 7.5 in lower heels). The converse I bought were size 6 men's, 8 women's. When I lace the shoes on, and with my heel touching the inside heel of the shoe, there is a 1/2 inch gap in front of my big toe. I think it looks funny when I wear these converse because it makes my feet look big. However, in Journeys, I tried on womens' 7 (there are no half sizing) and the shoe fits with no gap in front (if there was one, it would've been less than 1/4 inch. However, the toe guard squishes my toes together so that if I walk too much, the toes will squeeze against each other and it will probably create blisters. Are my size 8's too big? If I had gotten a 7, would the 7's stretch and accommodate my toes well? On a side note, I wore those converse once, for a day, to school, and the interior of the school is all carpeted. I walked maybe 100 meters (110 yards) on cement to and from the school. Now, the rubber bottom has a very thin layer of fuzziness (probably from the carpet). If I were to return the shoes to Journeys would they accept them? Also, would they really notice? Thank you for your help! Thanks for your answers guys, but I heard from some places that canvas shoes would stretch (the canvas, I mean). Does this really happen and would that make the gap in front of my toe even bigger? Thank you for all your help!!!!!
Our pick of the answers:
The eights are the right size: the sevens wouldn't stretch because the toe cap is made out of rubber and the sort of rubber they use for shoes doesn't stretch very well. I rather suspect that converses run large in order to accomodate the toe cap. Converses, when they're new, actually have some sort of cloth layer on most of the sole of the shoe for some reason. This eventually wears off.
