Glam rock look for acquaintance party?

I'm attending our department's acquaintance party and the theme is glamorous rock, however I dont have any idea what I should wear, I want to be comfortable with the clothes and shoes because I'm one of the coordinators but I'd also like to look like "rocking"..suggestions please?
